It’s hard to believe that in just a few days, we’ll be celebrating Thanksgiving here in the U.S. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love setting aside a special day to thank God for our many blessings – to feast with family and friends -to reflect upon what is important in life. As each year passes, I’m also learning the importance of making gratitude a way of life – to find things to be thankful for even in the midst of hardship – to find ways to appreciate people even when it’s difficult.
I made today’s ATC for Gabrielle for the “I’m Puzzled” Swap. I did not initially sign up for this swap, but the theme kept bouncing around my head. My initial interpretation of the theme was different – originally, I planned on using question marks as the main design element and thematically building the card around questions or things that confuse us. However, I ultimately chose to use an altered puzzle piece on the card because I felt it added a more unique design element. I used green corrugated paper as the base to make all of the elements pop!
Products used include Basic Grey Color Me Silly Ribbon (bottom), buttons by Jesse James, and waxy flax from Close To My Heart.
I love your ATC. I need to learn how to alter stuff.
Thanks Christina – I hope you'll give this a try! The more I try, the more I learn! I'm looking forward to making and featuring more altered projects in the future! 🙂

Thanks Lisa – I hope you are feeling better – you're missed when you're not around!
