Jingle All The Way is the third ATC in my Wonder Of Winter series. As you can see from my previous cards, I’ve used similar colors and embellishments to tie the ATCs together visually, but have focused on a different aspect of Winter in each card. I’ve also discovered some wonderful design blogs along the way. Here are the challenges and blogs that inspired me while working on this card!
The first challenge is The smART-Word Challenge – Ice is their smART Word for January. I used a lot of bling, brads, and snowflakes with shiny reflective surfaces to emulate the reflective qualities of Ice! If you have never entered a design challenge before, I encourage you to visit this blog – this new site would be a great place to start!
The second challenge is the Winter Challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge. You would never know that this is a new design blog at a casual glance – it has already attracted a huge following! They welcome all types of cards and paper crafts – both “fussy and fancy” or “simple and clean”. Since I tend to vascillate between the two styles, I’ll be keeping an eye out on their challenges!
The third challenge is Challenge #82 – Glitter or Rhinestones at the Creative Belli Blog. I love bling and have been a long time fan of both the Creative Belli Blog and their designers – so I’m excited to share this blog with those of you who are unfamiliar with it! They encourage you to create beautiful things from the items you have lying around your stamp room. Check out their blog – it’s hard to not be inspired by all of their amazing artwork!
