Snowflake ATC (PDCC12)

I have always loved the color blue. I also naturally gravitate towards monochromatic color schemes. Therefore, I was thrilled to learn that this week’s challenge at The Play Date Cafe offers the opportunity to combine both faves into a project of choice!

The Play Date Cafe’s Challenge of the Week (PDCC12) is to interpret the icy blues of winters as you see them.  Since I was pleased at how my Winter Wonderland ATC turned out, I decided to create another ATC for this challenge.

Although my winter stash is small, I had fun finding the perfect embellishments for these cards! On this ATC, I particularly like the crystal blue bling (it reminds me of little frozen dewdrops!) and the whispy tendrils of fiber surrounding the snowflakes (they remind me of delicate icicle tendrils)!
This Play Date Cafe Challenge (PDCC12) is open through Tuesday, January 19th. Won’t you stay inside where it’s warm and cozy this weekend and create something colorful to share?

    Hi there

thank you for the comment you left on my birthday candy. I am a follower now too as I have just had a look through your blog – it is great and so is your work. I would love to put your tip into action but I don't have a craft room so stuff is all over the place – dining room, bedroom etc!!!!
I also noticed that I have won a candy thanks to your blog.
