Greetings from Tsunami and Legend! Although my boys enjoy hanging out with one another, it is rare that I capture a decent shot of the two of them together. Part of it stems from the fact that it’s hard to get them to look at the camera at the same time – the other part stems from the fact that it’s hard to fit them both in the same photograph! So, I was delighted to capture this candid moment before Tsunami started to bat at the camera straps, causing Legend to jump up in excitement and Tsunami to go dashing down the hall because Legend startled him!
It’s a quiet morning in The Paper Palace, so I thought I’d spin the camera around and give you a peek under the front of my desk. There sit two 8 1/2 x 11 paper sorters which I purchased long ago to organize my decorative papers, but which I’m now using to store miscellaneous items as I clean out my studio. I’m not sure how I will ultimately use these pieces – or even if I’ll keep them – I’d love to know what you would put in them if they were in your workspace!
I also received some wonderful gifts this week from my blogging buds, including a card and OWOH photograph from Kathyrn at Sassmowth Designs; a beautiful Summer Gypsy Rosette from Jill at Gypsy Brocante for being her 400th follower; hidden blog candy (SEI paper and bling) from Connie McCotter of McStampin Dusk Til Dawn from the recent Our Daily Bread blog hop; and an adorable stamp set and bling from Sally at Sally’s Creative Corner (be sure to check out her site – each week she spotlights a different company and offers blog candy from them!) Thank you, ladies, for blessing me with these beautiful gifts!
Now, it’s your turn. What’s going on in your scraproom today? Are you working on a cool new project – trying your hand at a new technique – or trying to find a home for some recently acquired supplies? Perhaps you have a workspace you’re particularly proud of because it is beautifully organized – or perhaps you wear the banner of creatively chaotic with pride! Whatever the case is – we want to see it all! Please share your comments, then hop over to the Stamping Ground – link to Julia’s current WOYWW post – then, peruse everyone else’s workspaces to your heart’s content!
