WOYWW 30 – Buttons, Bags, & Brooches

Greetings to all of you What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday fans! This week, I am featuring the work of some bloggers worth getting to know, and who better to begin with than WOYWWer Nikki of Graphix and Designs! Nikki is also a digi stamp designer who owns Limited Run Stamps (she offers free digis every Friday!) and who selflessly spends her spare time designing custom WOYWW buttons for our whimsy! I was so excited to visit Nikki this morning and find these three new buttons, which fit me to a tee – the beautiful Flower Power button was designed especially with me and my Flower Garden in mind! Thank you so much Nikki for sharing your talent with us – I’ll be joining the ranks of those changing out WOYWW buttons like socks!

Now, how many of you recognize this beautiful bag? If it looks familiar, it’s because it’s one of the three Morsbags that fellow WOYWWer Nicks of Nick’s Arty Stuff recently created on her Morsbag-making spree! For those of you who are wondering, a Morsbag is one of those handmade cotton bags you use in place of the environmentally unsound plastic or paper bags you normally receive when you shop. I am particularly lucky to receive this Morsbag, as it is the first one that Nicks ever created! Thank you Nicks, for this beautiful bag – you are one talented seamstress!

Next, I’d like to introduce you to Andrew Thornton, an artist and jewelry designer I met a few months ago through Create With Joy.

At The Writing And Art Of Andrew Thornton, Andrew features personal essays about his life as well as a weekly giveaway for lovers of beads, baubles, and handcrafted jewelry!

Last week, Andrew featured this brooch by Cenya of the Emerald Window. When I saw this beautiful piece, I felt it calling to me, so I entered the drawing, and behold – a short time later, I was holding it in my hands! Thank you Andrew and Cenya for this wonderful gift – the presentation and ATC were lovely as well!

Have you heard? July marks Tsunami’s three year anniversary with us! As you can imagine, the paparazzi was not kind to Tsunami when he first arrived – day after day, the camera relentlessly followed him wherever he went! If you’re a cat lover, stop by and enjoy some of our first moments with Tsunami.

Be sure to check out My Christmas Vintage Giveaway as well!
Speaking of anniversaries, Verve Stamps is celebrating their three year anniversary this weekend with an Anni-VERVE-sary blog hop – so join me as I’ll be one of the participants!
As always, I hope you enjoyed this week’s edition of WOYWW! I look forward to reading your comments and visiting as many of your sites as possible! For those of you who would like to join the WOYWW fun, visit Julia at Stamping Ground – she is the founder and the keeper of the links!
