For You & Vintage Christmas Winners

Happy Monday! Today’s card is dedicated to you, my wonderful readers – your ongoing support, comments and friendship mean the world to me!

The concept of this card was inspired by my friend Jill. If you look closely, you’ll notice that I cut out the top portion of the card’s front panel to uniquely highlight the pretty organdy ribbons featured for the Lots To Do Challenges Ribbons And Lace Challenge. I rounded the back corners of the card to add a touch of elegance, and lightly sponged it to accentuate the soft sheer feel of the ribbons.

The color scheme was influenced by Papertake Weekly’s White And Bright Challenge and The Sisterhood Of Crafter’s Celebrating The Month Of August Color Challenge (Red, Green, Orange).

The card also complements Cute Card Thursday’s – Whatevea theme and Sentimental Sunday’s – Challenge 15 – Anything Goes theme!

Now, if you participated in my recent Vintage Christmas Giveaway, hold on to your hats – it’s time to announce the winners of July’s featured collage sheets!

Before I do so, I want to thank all of you who joined in the fun! It warms my heart to see that so many of you are already in the Christmas spirit! I processed over 100 comments this weekend – and welcomed 17 new Kindred Spirits with Christmas in their hearts! As a result, I look forward to keeping the holiday spirit alive with a new Christmas giveaway shortly!

Now, on to the drawings! All winners were chosen using a random number generator.

The following ladies have won their Favorite Digital Collage Sheets:

Brenda of Shabby Cats & Roses is the lucky winner of Holiday Postcards!

Sequin of Fantasy Of Sequins is the lucky winner of Christmas Beauty!

Barbara of Moore Whimsies is the lucky winner of Christmas Darlings!

Donna of The House On The Corner is the lucky winner of Christmas Postcards!

Well done ladies! Now for a few Bonus Draws… joining the Winner’s Circle are:

Vicki of Scrapping Creatiions By Vicki – she will receive her favorite sheet, Holiday Postcards!

Lucy at The Farmer’s Attic – she also picked Holiday Postcards as her favorite sheet!

Janet at Clarky J’s Play Space – she chose Christmas Postcards for her sheet of choice!

And the Grand Prize goes to:

Joanne of the Vintage Dragonfly – she wins all four collage sheets!

Congratulations and thanks to all who participated!

Now, if your name isn’t on the list, don’t fret – as a Create With Joy reader, you can receive 20% off any Altered Pages order by using the discount code EVERYTHING – so check out the latest products, and let Jackie know how much you love her stuff!

Trivia Time: Did you know that I’m an August baby? Well, this may be my birthday month but I’m planning a surprise for you – so stay tuned, I can hardly wait to share the details!

What a beautiful card. I am infatuated with your site. I've been back and forth about 10 times today browsing through your archives. I am trying to figure out a way to feature your site in my blog. One of the main themes as my blog progresses will be time spent with your children and activities that are kid friendly. A card like this or the Christmas card you did with the wire as a tree and beads for ornaments is a perfect Saturday afternoon activity for young ones. Do you know of any blogs that have tutorials for creating cards or for that matter would you consider guest writing one. I see your card above and can think of a few different ways to recreate it but it's your design and that what matters. If you have an idea or a list of cards you think would be easy for kids I loved to hear about them.

    Wonderful Work
