|A Multi-Challenge Christmas Card – Created By The Paper Princess|
This week, participants of Dutch Dare Card Challenges DDCC 92 are busy making Christmas cards, tags, and ornaments. Now, if you’re still making (rather than mailing!) your Christmas cards, you need a good, flexible design that makes creating cards a snap. That’s why I was delighted to discover Sketch H2H35 at the CTMH-themed Heart 2 Heart Challenges blog this week. I fell in love with this design the moment I saw it, and decided to make it the basis for today’s card!

I dug through several packs of paper and pulled out a few combinations of paper to choose from – all of which perfectly fit both Art Walk Friday’s Red & Green and The Play Date Café’s PDCC58 – The Colors Of Christmas color scheme. I chose the cardstock for the background elements to use up some scraps from another project.

I chose “Be Merry” as the card’s sentiment for entry into The Smart Word Challenge’s “Merry December” challenge, which requires the use of the word “merry” on the card. It is with great sadness that I announce that this is my last Smart Word challenge, as Susan is closing her challenge blog on December 22, 2010. Thank you, Susan, for a year of “merry memories” – your blog will be missed, but not forgotten!
I hope you enjoyed today’s card, and have lots of fun incorporating these creative challenges into your Christmas cards!
