    Hi Ann,

I just received my spoons about a week or so ago so I have not had a chance to break them in as of yet, but based on past experience, I anticipate using them all and am really excited about this set!

I currently have two sets of standard measuring spoons that meet every day needs – ie, they contain the standard measurements – but there are times I come across recipes that call for unusual amounts that I have had to calculate (I'm not a numbers kind of gal!) and I have also purchased recipe books based on the amazing looking photos and exotic sounding recipe names, only to discover that the measurements are all in metric (great for you international gals – not so great for those of us in the States!) I purchased the spoons solely on the uncommon measurements – I was delighted to discover the "bonus" of the metric measurements as well!

When I shopped at CSN, there was a set of silver spoons that had ONLY the unusual meaurements that I had originally planned on getting, to supplement my current sets. But, when I read the review, the person said that the spoons were shorter than she thought they should be – and this set got a 5 star review – so I ended up going with this set based on those additional factors!

    Hope this additional information helps!
