Wordless Wednesday – Reflections

New Year's Reflections

Thought For The Day
Try to be like a turtle – at ease in your own shell.
Bill Copeland

Happy New Year to you, dear friends! I’m excited to welcome you to another year of Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy!

Since the beginning of the year is a time of transition and reflection for many of us, I thought I’d share a photograph I took during the holidays. I love this shot because it is so perfect for quiet meditation! Water…nature…wildlife…what a perfect respite during a busy day!

Now, if you came for your weekly feline fix, don’t fret! Rumor has it that Legend will make a guest appearance during WOYWW, so be sure to drop in later to see what he’s up to!

  11. Hmmmm Google is retiring GFC???? Interesting…….

I see good and bad in that.

The good is whenever you enter a contest you will no longer have to do that as one of the requirements.

I don’t use RSS feeds (I HATE THEM). My preferred method of following is to sign up for an email subscription. I wonder what will happen to all of the blogs I am following through GFC that don’t have email subscriptions? Will I lose them?

Yes, any blogs you are following through GFC will disappear when Google pulls GFC from all of the non- Blogger blogs. Very short-sighted of them in my opinion. But, I believe they ultimately want everyone on Google Plus anyway so they can build their numbers to compete with Facebook – it’s just a matter of time before GFC gets yanked from Blogger blogs too.

Love the reflections in the water. Great shot to start the new year.

  24. I will spend this year trying even harder to make the world a better place for the beloved feline species. In that regard, I was fortunate enough to start the New Year by interviewing Jackson Galaxy of “My Cat From Hell” on Animal Planet. He is such a crusader for the well-being of cats. I hope everyone can stop by and visit my blog to read the interview and watch the show that premiers on January 7th at 8 pm.

    Happy New Year All!
