I like the idea of Inspiration Monday.
Monday’s often get the short end of the stick
But they are fraught with potential!

Welcome to Inspire Me Monday – a place to share your creative inspirations, sharpen your creative vision, and showcase your creative talents!

I invite you to inspire others and nurture your creative spirit by joining our Creative Blog Hop! To participate, simply join my creative community (which now extends to Google Plus) and follow the guidelines at the end of this post!

What’s Inspiring You This Week?
A Few Of My Thoughts

Since I started Inspire Me Monday, I eagerly anticipate the arrival of each new week. Every Sunday, I spend a good part of the day revisiting all of the current week’s participants and pick a few to feature on the upcoming week’s posts. Each week, the task becomes more daunting as you continue to amaze me with your entries. Please take a few moments to visit and encourage one another throughout the week as you continue to share your inspiring quotes, essays, DIY projects, recipes, crafts, and art!

This month, be open to all of the creative opportunities that come your way! Step out of your comfort zone and say “yes” to things that stretch your mind and your imagination! You never know what great adventure you will find yourself on when you open yourself up to a new world of possibilities!

Have a wonderful week and a glorious March!

Highlights From Week 7

Carolyn at A Colorful Journey
Project: Thanks Mom – Art Journaling Using Masking Tape As Frame

Carolyn has done it again!
Last week she encouraged us to Embrace Opportunity –
And Failure – with a beautiful tag.

This week she has taken Art Journaling to a new level
By not only incorporating a creative technique into her book
But sharing a video as well!

Congratulations to this talented Somerset Studio Artist
Who graces us with her talents each week!

Lexi at The Newbie Crafter
Project: Martini Pin-Up

Lexi @ Newbie Crafter - Martini Pin-Up Card

Okay, you be the judge.
I believe that Lexi is pulling our leg.
With a creation like this
I find it difficult to believe that she is
Truly the “Newbie” Crafter!

Look at her attention to details!
The beautiful and unusual color combination.
The lovely coloring.

Nope – I find it hard to believe that
Lexi is the “Newbie” Crafter.
But I do believe she’s a Talented One!

Katherine at Katherine’s Corner
Recipe: Breakfast Biscuits

Katherines Corner - Breakfast Biscuits

I was raised to believe that
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

When it comes to breakfast,
I don’t want cereal.
I don’t want breakfast out of a box.
I want real, authentic food
Like Katherine makes!

Imagine waking up to the aroma of Katherine’s
Mouthwatering Breakfast Biscuits.

They look so delicious
They would rouse even the sleepiest of heads
From their beds!

Good Girl Gone Green
Recipe: Almond Cup Smoothies

Good Girl Gone Green - Almond Smoothie

Another recipe that I can’t wait to try is
Good Girl Gone Green’s Almond Cup Smoothies –
Made with Homemade Almond Butter!

Can you imagine how refreshing and healthy
A daily glass of this would be?

If you love these features – there are plenty more fabulous inspirations I’d love to share! Be sure to visit my talented friends and delight in their contributions at Inspire Me Monday – Week 8!

I’m always amazed at some of the things that people can come up with!!! I don’t think the “newbie” is that new :)…looks pretty great!!! However, considering I’ve been under the weather and not able to eat much lately the food is “really” calling my name :)…ALL is just lovely! Hope you have a wonderful week, Ramona…as always, thank you so much for hosting….

      Hi Erin

I am amazed too! Did you see the wreath made out of beans and peas? Amazing!
I have really loved your last few posts. I wish I had more space to feature everyone but it takes awhile to get the post written as it is!

I am thinking of starting an Inspire Me Monday board on Pinterest, when time permits, to share more of the posts. What does everyone think?

      • Erin says:

I didn’t see the wreat…I will have to go back and check it out…been into the wreaths lately…have made three lately!!! I think that sounds like a GREAT idea!!! I LOVE Pinterest!!! You could share some on here…and then some on here…and extend onto there as well…great idea, in my opinion…

The wreath is a St Patrick’s day wreath (look for a white wreath with a shamrock) – I was amazed to see that hse made the wreath out of white beans and peas – I have a Pinterest board dedicated to wreaths and I will definitely have to add this over there – but I couldn’t get into Pinterest earlier tonight for some reason so I’ll have to do so later this week!

GREAT questions for Friendship Friday by the way – thank you so much for your contributions – I have the post sitting in my box until I have a chance to write them down – it’s a huge help as my brain tends to get fried by then! 🙂

  2. Thank you so much! 🙂

Ashley, I’m so glad you’re joining us in our weekly adventures! What I love about Inspire Me Monday is that everyone is able to share what inspires them or what they have created that they consider special – whether it’s the written word, or something crafty, or something delicious, or something practical they want to pass on! I hope that over time we have some musicians, performing artists and craftspeople join us on the hop – wouldn’t that be cool? I really want to encourage people to be confident in whatever creative gifts that God has given them and not to feel they can’t participate because they are don’t express themselves like someone else. Have fun hopping and I look forward to seeing your contribution! 🙂

  12. LaVonne says:

Thank you, darlings! Apologies for the late reaction, I was out of town with the family this week. I’m not that really creative yet, but I’ll get there! Thanks so much for the inspiration.
