I have really enjoyed reading your blog so I nominated you for the One Lovely Blog and Very Inspiring Blogger Award. You can check it out here: http://mylifesatreasure.blogspot.com/2012/07/why-i-blog-some-more-blogging-awards.html
    Enjoy and congratulations,

  2. It may be my half-Russian ancestry, but I crave hot tea in the summer! The rationale is that the warmth makes you perspire, which cools you down! Our local coffee house makes a wicked cranberry hibiscus tea with honey, which is so refreshing either hot or cold.
Thanks for the great post & linkup, & God bless,
    Laurie

Well, the tea sounds wonderful Laurie, but where I live, the last thing I want to do is perspire – lol!
Have a wonderful weekend and stay cool – however you can do it! 🙂

My favorite summer beverage is sun tea. I love the process of sitting the large glass jar in the sun to slowly brew the tea. And then add lots of ice and a little lemon and sweetener and then you have the perfect glass of ice tea:)
    Have a perfectly wonderful weekend!

  7. Lisa says:

My favorite drinks this summer would have to be either my homemade iced tea or mango-pineapple. 🙂 Thanks for hosting! Have a great weekend! Many blessings, Lisa

While I am at the end of my computer time for the day, I will definitely be back to browse the recipes. Here in Louisiana is hot most of the year, I am a big fan of pop. But, living here in Louisiana I have learned to love refreshing glasses of lemon water, which also carries many healthy benefits.
