Wordless Wednesday – The Scowl

Legend - The Scowl

Photo Of The Week
Legend – The Scowl

Thought For The Day
As anyone who has ever been around a cat
For any length of time well knows
Cats have enormous patience
With the limitations of the human kind.
Cleveland Amory

Legend loves TV time!
Legend loves to cozily snuggle in a blanket
Between the legs of his dad!
Legend loves to crawl on his dad’s chest
During the middle of our shows and
Have his head and back stroked by
Both Mom and Dad!

Legend cherishes his private moments!

Legend hates the paparazzi!
Even an aerial shot caught by a raving
Roving reporter did not escape his notice –
Or his scowl!

In separate news, a long-haired Maine Coon
Bearing a striking resemblance to
Today’s featured cat has been seen
Batting at and chewing on a crazed
Courageous camera woman’s camera straps
Every chance he gets!

Coincidence?
You be the judge!

Tune in next time for the continuing saga of
Legend & The Paparazzi Blues!

Oh boy…we know that look. The vet said our Cougar girl needed to lose a bit a weight…meaning that dear ‘ol dad had to stop sneeking her cheese. Someone is a bit erked at what the cheese went on the pizza none made it to her paws.

  19. Sarah says:

    Ha h! Love it.

There is never a boring moment with Legend (who also morphs into Mister Naughty Pants, but in this instance was just plain perturbed that the paparazzi had disturbed him with a bright flash in the midst of his darkened room!)

Can’t really blame him for scowling, actually… but he looked SO BEAUTIFUL before the paparazzi ruined the moment!

Oh well. That’s the price you pay for being beautiful, eh?

Here is my contribution for this Wednesday.

  34. I just hopped over here from Welcome Wednesday and the cats caught my attention right away! My chubby kitty is a paparazzi hater, too. When she sees the camera, she turns her back on it!

  35. In my humble opinion, cats periodically give withering stares to human beings merely as a matter of form–to remind them of who is really the boss…

  36. Me thinks you should get a sturdy camera bag … one that will take a few days to chew through. Hiding it probably won’t work, but maybe put a dummy camera out that he can chew on without harm … I love your scouling boy. He is the master of his world.

  37. Rosey says:

Look at the dainty crossing of the paws, lol. Awesome! :)

Sorry for my link mix-up. I’d just put a new giveaway on my FB and the copy/paste wasn’t updated (link #147 is wrong! I posted again in 148, noting 147 was bogus…which probably is just more confusing, lol. No wonder the kitty is scowling. :) ).

  38. Happy Wordless Wednesday, Thanks so much for hosting.

  39. Jeanna says:

Pretty slick kitty. My cousin’s boxer all but destroyed my camera strap and case when I did his puppy photo session.

  40. Lisa says:

Gotta love your kitty! :-))) thanks for hosting!

  41. Legend seems proud of his scowl…and we kinda like that!

  42. Meanie says:

OK, so my post isn’t really wordless! I had too much to say. I was proud of my new creation!! Glad to be back in the community. Been so very busy lately. And I still have something for you that, for some reason, I never got around to mailing. I guess my ADD is acting up!!! It will be going out this weekend–when I get my “allowance”!!!!
