Every time I see your beautiful kitties I think of my beloved Rio. She passed away almost 2 years ago and was almost 19. Maine Coon’s are the most beautiful cats, I believe. Have a great week!

I”m so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved Rio. I do hope my cats are as long lived as yours though!
Couldn’t agree with you more about Maine Coons! :-)

Thank you so much. The “phantom visions” of thinking I was seeing her or hearing her have long passed, but I think of her loveliness a lot. She was a dear cat.

  12. That’s the “stink eye.” I’d recognize it anywhere. I love the Paula Poundstone quote.

That Paula Poundstone does not know jack about us kitties! I, for one, have a very expressive face!

Of course, I look annoyed most of the time. But that’s because I am.

  22. Charlotte says:

I love “that look”! Had to check in on the featured kitty pic of the week. Happy Wednesday!

Legend and I were having game time on the stairs and I captured “that look” during a very focused hunt for a leather shoe string that, quite frankly, was ticking him off!

(Anything that makes him run up and down the stairs has a tendency to do that!)

Legend only likes to run in bursts… and Tsunami is downright slothful!

  28. Diana says:

Your cat is truly gorgeous. I love seeing him(?) each and every week. Do you know hat kind he(?) is?

  29. I certainly hope it is a moth he is looking at and not an ax murderer … hmmm. Great look and great picture. You are very good at catching your boys in special situations. Love the pictures … all of them.

      Thanks Andrea!

Actually, it was neither (but I found the quote rather amusing).

Legend was hunting a leather shoelace and was rather focused on his prey (which, to his great displeasure, was going up and down the stairs!)

  30. BJ Bangs says:

Visiting from Wordless Wednesday. Love the coons. My Wordless Wednesday coon this week isn’t as happy as this one. Great photo.
