Thanks for hosting, as always Joy! Great week-end topic!

Hmm, some fun facts about me..
I’m very musically eclectic. I will listen to virtually anything. I’ve been trying to get a Vampire novel out of my head and it is one of my goals for this year. I was a cake decorator for 20 years and still do it for fun. I’ve lost almost 80lbs and still losing more and that is what my blog is about! Realistic strategies for healthy weight loss that involves EATING! LOL. Healthy recipes too!

If I could read one persons autobiography I would love to read Ron Ben-Israel’s!

  3. Is there such a thing as an autobiography in a comment or on a blog post? haha. I don’t think it would fit mine. The best I can do is the about me here: http://www.selfsagacity.com/2009/12/about-amanda-self-sagacity.html.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. Tanya says:

  6. Hootin' Anni says:

    …thanks for the invite!!!

    • Welcome Anni – first timers always make me smile!
Look forward to getting to know you better and hope your first time here is a hoot! :-)

P.S. Did you ever watch Boston Legal? That’s what your name makes me think about –
there was a character on the show who talked about everything / everyone being a hoot! :-)

  7. Thanks again for opening up the link party! If I could read the biography about anyone I’d like a well written contemporary biography of Abraham!

  8. Hi Ramona!
Every one of us brings something truly unique to our blogs. My passion is to live life fully and beautifully. Because, as my motto says, “Why be ordinary when you can be extraordinary.” It’s about being in the moment, creating a lovely world around my home, and encouraging others in the journey….all built on the foundation of knowing that a loving God desires for each of us to live fully in Him. As a walker and nature lover you’ll see nature photos every week along with an inspirational thought, quote, or verse. As a creative type I share decor and gardening ideas the rest of the time. An Extraordinary Day really is a place of joy and inspiration. Please come join me. :D

  13. Thanks for hosting! Raising Figure Skaters rarely has posts about figure skating, since my husband and I especially used our kids’ sports to help them develop positive character traits and follow their life paths. Still, we were able to have amazing experiences and travel around the world. My kids are grown now, and I share lots of word-art freebies, inspiration, ways to make a difference, and ideas about gratitude and raising kids with character.

  19. Hmmmm…fun fact about me – the first thing that comes to mind is I make my own wine! :) As for my blog, I’m still, 4 years later, trying to figure out what direction I’m going – right now it’s a plethora of weekly meme’s, but I’m having fun, so that’s what matters most. ;)

Thanks so much for hosting – have a great weekend! :)

  21. So glad I hopped onto your site – what a lovely community of bloggers you have here! I’ve liked you on FB.

  22. Thank you for hosting another great party! I think bloggers are a unique bunch of people and according to the people in my life I definitely fit into that category! My friend said that she thought I was too busy but I told her that after everything that needs to get done is done, and often even before ;) , I need to do the things I really want to do or it would be too boring and and so I squeeze those things in as much as I can. Blogging is one if those things. If the things I love to do tip me over the scales of too busy, so be it!

  23. Also, I wanted to say that my blog, What-About.co, and my internet presense in general, is a great reflection of my very busy personality!

I am open to new ideas and new challenges as my blog will show. The big thing is the friends I have meet along my blogging journey. Thanks for hosting and have a great weekend!

    Hello There my Friend!

Things have been crazy at our home…ack! I love autobiographies! Biographies as well.
If I could read anyone’s autobiography- who would it be? Hmmmm….oh…that is hard since I favor hearing most about how people come to believe what they do…so I love memoirs, and such.

I am stealing a minute to visit you BUT feel sp pressed for time because we are in a battle here this week still- my sweet girls and Banjo (our dog) have fleas! It is so stressful. I can’t tell you how much cleaning I have been doing and I think we will win soon…but my poor girls, Ashley and Aurora…they just are breaking my heart with the scratching. Today we have a round of FleaMeds and also some stuff to put around the house to kill those evil things.

ANyway…I have to look up autobiography later…I think I write that way right? I write about my life…kind of…I reveal myself (discreetly- I hope) at my blog…lol hmmm.

    Have a great weekend.

  33. Hello there!

    I’m a first timer.

I am a writer, poet, storyteller, photographer, cyclist, and cat lover.

I have been blogging since 2002, and closed 2 blogs, one on cycling, by 2010.

My 2nd personal blog began in 2007.

My other blogging interest is as a cat blogger.

While my Cat Nikita has been my muse since he was a kitten, in 1998, and co-blogger from 2002 to 2009, I finally gave him his own place in 2010, where he was joined by Miss Elvira soon after.

After a lifetime in Southern California, my cats & I relocated to Houston, TX., last September.

Career-wise I am most proud of 17 years spent working in a bookstore, 11 as store manager. I have also had an essay published in a Star Trek Anthology, and been quoted in another bok, on non-car transit options.

I like to read and collect books, take urban hikes, and long bike rides.

  34. Hello! We are new here. Our Human suggested we say hello.

    We are cats….we blog.

We are storytellers, poets, journalists, commentators, stroller kitties, and more.

We like naps and snoozes, belly rubs, lap catting, sun puddles, cat trees, quality catnip, and tasty kibble.

I, Nikita, am 14 1/2 yr. old Main Coonish cat with arthritis, and have been online in one form or another since I was a kitten.

It took a while, but my Human finally got wise and gave me my own blog in 2010.

I, Elvira Mistress of Felinity, am a soon to be 3 year old Tortie. I am the sassiest feline on the internet! And cute, too!

  39. Lisa says:

Thank you so much for hosting! I so enjoy participating in your hops! :-) As for a few things about me: I love to take pictures (big surprise after seeing my blog, right? lol), crochet, read, travel (when time and money permit of course, lol) and spend time with my family.

  40. I would love to read my father’s, simply because I’ve never met him and I”d love to know his story.

    Aloha :)

  41. Hazel Moon says:

Thank you for the invite to share on your lovely site. Rescue the Stories Book One has stories from as young as I can remember, through age 18 when I married and left home.
I am working on book two, and discovering more stories that I did not remember at the time that could have been in book one. I will probably add them into book two as there are some too good to miss. My stories have a life lesson with most of the stories. Things my mother taught me, and things I learned with the help of our Lord.
