Last week, I shared that I have not been sleeping well.
I also revealed the reason for my insomnia.
A lot of you could relate!
From your stories, I learned that
Bed Hog Syndrome is a national epidemic.
I am still processing the comments!
This week, I thought I’d share a possible hypothesis
On how Bed Hog Syndrome starts.
When you first bring a kitten into your home,
It’s just like bringing home a newborn.
Your motherly instincts kick in.
You adore that kitten.
You’re protective of your little angel.
You don’t want to let your precious baby out of your sight!
Night rolls around.
You don’t want to leave something so tiny and helpless alone.
Your kitten doesn’t want to be left alone either…
So, you allow your sweet little baby into your bed.
At first, things are fine.
Your kitten snuggles in a little fur ball in a tiny corner of the bed.
You lie as still as can be,
So as not to disturb or crush your kitten during the night.
The next thing you know, your baby is growing up!
Soon a tiny tiger is tackling your toes and
Your ferocious mountain lion is climbing your legs!
But your leaping leopard is so precious,
You cannot resist his charms!
If this sounds familiar to you – beware!
That precious kitten that is causing you Toe Terror today
Will soon be tomorrow’s Bed Hog!
You can already see the Napoleanic gleam of
Victory in Tsunami’s eyes!
Who can relate to Bill Dana’s quote?
I had been told that the training procedure with cats was difficult.
It’s not. Mine had me trained in two days!
Have a fabulous time at this week’s party!
