Welcome To Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy!

For the past few weeks,
Things have gotten a little personal.

You’ve learned that I have Insomnia.
You’ve discovered the reason for my Night Terror.
This week, I’d like to lighten things up a bit!

Do you have one member in your family that
Nothing seems to faze?

Someone who can sleep through
Anything and everything?

Meet our sleeping beauty!

Legend is not one to miss a wink,
Even if it means leaving his cozy bed
And finding new quarters!

He’ll sleep in a box.
He’ll sleep like a fox!
He’ll sleep on the rug.
Just give him a hug!

Which brings to mind the timeless lyrics of
John Lennon and Paul McCartney:

Golden slumbers,
Fill your eyes
Smiles await you when you rise
Sleep pretty darling
Do not cry
And I will sing a lullaby

    Legend, our human dad is just like that. He can sleep anywhere, anytime and through anything, almost. We usually can wake him up if we have a cat fit on the bed. Enjoy your snooze.     Awwww…he is so so cute and the answer to your question is yes! My husband can sleep anywhere and at any time. It drives me bonkers.

    wouldn’t it great to be able to sleep like a cat?? esp soaking up a sunbeam :o )
    I hope your night terrors are over soon. I have insomnia for a long time, and nightmares as long as I can remember… I do notice that some medications make them worse.

    lol that would be our Simba kitty! He just sleeps heavier than any cat I’ve ever know. He’s just cool and I wanna cuddle your kitty!

    oh how I envy Legend, like you, I am an insomniac, and oddly enough when I was younger I was able to sleep through pretty much anything! I miss those days terribly! That is one content cat, wonder what Legend is dreaming about? Perhaps catnip? :)

      My guess? Hugs and kisses!
      Legend likes to know that he is being watched over when he sleeps.
      He will constantly let out little chirps and trills to make sure I am near enough to pet him.
      When I do, he writhes with pleausre, stretches, and then curls up and sleeps more!

      Ah – the life of my cats!

    I’m one of the lucky ones. As soon as my head hits the pillow, I’m out like a light. I do wake up a couple of times during the night, but it doesn’t take long for me to fall right back to sleep. Of course it may be because I get up at 3 am with my husband, and we don’t go to bed until sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 pm.
