Happy WOYWW, dear friends! Today’s column will be short and sweet as I spent the day at the endodontist and am still feeling groggy in the aftermath of the “special cocktail” they gave me to keep me in the seat and off of the ceiling!
This week I am participating in the High Summer Read-A-Thon. So is Legend. I snapped a shot of him guarding his books. You’ll have to stop by the read-a-thon event to see what I’m reading!

Well that’s MUCH better than devouring them, as a friend’s cat tried to do with one of mine this week. I haven’t yet seen it, but hear it looks pretty bad. 🙁

I too need to be hopped up to put my butt in the dentist chair. Bet you had a nice nap. Your cats are so pretty. My oldest child is allergic, so no cats for us. I checked out the reading challenge. I started following you so I won’t miss out on future stuff. I love to read, I can finish a really good book in 2 days. Good luck with your challenge this week. (((HUGS)))

Depends on the book! Some books I can’t put down til I finish. Others, I’m able to pace myself through!
I love how your cat is guarding your books , my little dog loves coming in to my craft room she likes following the sun spots on the carpet around the room.

How do you train Legend to do that or is it him doing his own thing? My cat just believes in leaving the bed covered in hair – when she’s not eating of course!!
Good luck with the book reading, I have just finished ‘A Cat Called Bob’, not heavy but interesting and am about to start the follow up book.

All photos of Legend (and Tsunami) reflect them at home, just doing their own thing – they aren’t trained to do any special tricks –
on the other hand, they have managed to train all of the humans who surround them pretty darn good!
It’s natural that Legend should claim a stack of books as his own – after all, he pretty much believes that everything that comes into our home is meant for him and his pleasure alone! 🙂
