Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
Quote Of The Day
Of all animals, he alone attains to the contemplative life.
Have you ever seen a cat pray? Do you wonder what cats pray about?
Legend and family are currently praying for the people and pets whose lives have been changed by the Colorado floods!
Here’s an overview of what’s happening in Colorado:
- 11,750 people have been evacuated.
- Over 2200 people and over 500 pets have been rescued.
- 17,494 homes and structures have been damaged.
- 1502 homes and structures have been completely destroyed.
- 658 people are unaccounted for.
- 8 people have lost their lives.
As a member of the Blog Paws Disaster Response Network, I invite you to visit Blog Paws for information on how to help the people and pets of Colorado – or to get help if you are in need!
#HillsPet Grain-Free Cat Food Giveaway
If you’ve ever wondered if grain-free cat food is right for your cat, don’t miss our Hill’s Science Diet Grain-Free Cat Food Giveaway! There will be four prizes for felines living in the US/Canada!
Hill’s Pet Nutrition is working hard to help the pets of Colorado.
At Hill’s we want to help those who are affected by the floods in Colorado so we have activated our Hill’s Disaster Relief Network to provide needed dog and cat food to the area. Right now food is on its way to several veterinary hospitals, and we will continue to be in touch with our veterinary and shelter partners in Colorado. All of the pets and pet parents are in our thoughts.
Have a wonderful Wordless Wednesday. I pray you are all safe and sound!

Never thought about my cats praying. Though, whenever I see an expectant face like that, I know that the kitty wearing that expression wants something from me.
Hope you’ll drop by to see us today or tomorrow for our birthday party and commentathon. You could win $$ for your favorite shelter/rescue. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at http://www.thecatonmyhead.com, Lily Olivia, Misty May, Mauricio, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

One of my friends posted photos from her family in Colorado–before those photos, I had no idea the severity of the damage. I worry so much about the people and pets affected by such drastic weather. May God be with all of them.

I was shocked as well by the photos and the stats. It’s hard to comprehend if you are not there.
Thanks for joining us this week!
Thanks for hosting Create With Joy!! We really love your Kitties!!
Your TX furiends,
Beautiful peaceful photo! I had a Maine Coon, who we adopted from a kill shelter at age 7, and she wound up living until 17. I recommend anyone interested in a cat to look past the kittens. With an adult cat you know more of the personality they have, plus they need our help.

To wax humorous, I think mine pray for cat treats. 😉
