This Week’s Theme – Blogaversary
This Friendship Friday, I am celebrating my 4th blogaversary at Create With Joy! With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to reflect upon our blogging journeys and to share the impact blogging has had on our lives!
Here are a few things I discovered when I looked into my blogging past:
When I started blogging, my posts focused on art. My first post, A Is For ATCs, discussed my love for Artist Trading Cards, and my first month’s posts featured a series of ATCs I created celebrating Autumn!. I’m not sure anyone saw them, though – it took a month before anyone commented on my blog!
But I kept blogging because I enjoyed it and today, I have written approximately 1100 posts! I love writing about a variety of things, including art and creativity, books, recipes, music, faith, and my cats!
Blogging keeps my life fresh. It opens doors to amazing opportunities, people, and friendships. It gives me the confidence to try new things. It widens my perspective. It gives me something to look forward to each day!

I didn’t link up today, but I will try in the very near future to participate in Friendship Friday. Usually it’s so difficult for me to do much on the weekends unless I can pre-schedule these write ups. I am not that organize to figure out what topics are going on with various Friday hops. I will have plot my course to try to join in on the fun. Anywho, this looks like great fun. Have a good weekend!

Hi Ramona. I’ve been blogging in one fashion or another since 2007. My first post was about the fear I had in starting a blog (kind of tongue in cheek). I’ve written a bunch of posts, can’t say how many, but one of my blogs was a daily devotional blog that I did for two years, and I posted on another blog almost everyday for 3 years, so that should give you some idea. 🙂 I’m getting ready to start a new blog which will be a photo blog in honor of our Creator. My favorite secular posts are home related, and I’ve been having a lot of fun with A Joyful Cottage. Thanks for hosting and encouraging creativity in all its forms. Blessings, Nancy
