Photo Of The Week – The Best Gift Ever
Magellan at 13 ½ Weeks
Photographed January 4, 2014
Happy Wordless Wednesday, dear friends!
Thank you for your warm welcome of our
Newest family member, Magellan, last week!
Magellan has stolen our hearts and taken over
Our household and our lives by storm!
He is intelligent, irrepressible, and irresistible!
Magellan loves being the center of attention and
Manages to take center stage, no matter what we are doing!
Even when sleeping, he purrs and reaches out for petting!
Magellan is a high energy kitten, much to Tsunami’s chagrin.
While Magellan loves Tsunami dearly, Tsunami does not appreciate
Magellan’s passionate habit of jumping on his head and
Locking his neck in a vice grip in order to give him kitten love!
Curious. Confident. Cuddly.
A fabulous Companion Cat.
That’s Magellan – my precious Maine Coon kitten!

Have a tanfastic week 🙂

I think he’s growing accustomed to the camera – although he’d rather play with it than have his picture taken, I suspect! 🙂

Haha cute. I’ve never understood why cats have such a fascination with boxes. Mine are both the same way.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Magellan loves boxes – but surprisingly enough, did not care for the paper bag I put down for him to pay with!
(I even cut up a really quality one for him to play with – cut off the handles so he wouldn’t get his little kitty head stuck in it – but he was less than impressed!)

He has a face that looks older than his kitty age. Yesterday I saw old photos of Prince as a little kitty and then I saw a man walking across the road holding a little kitty a couple of yards from where we adopted our second kitty, Sheela, and it got me wanting another kitten. Our two cats are still young and healthy, so I’ll have to wait. 🙂

It’s really good to space them out so that you never go kitty-less!
Today is Magellan’s weigh-in day. He is growing so fast! He’s probably the size of some full grown kitties already – or close to it!
I’m so pleased he is settling in. He’s amazingly cute!!!!! I’m getting “kitten broody” lol!!!!!

He is just too precious! I love how cats always find a box to park themselves in. The kids and cat always fight over who gets the boxes.
You’re going to need a bigger box soon!
It’s funny how boxes become their furniture.
Hope Magellan & Tsunami work it out! Thanks for hosting & God bless!

Oh! He’s so cute and he looks so cuddly, too!
I adore his name. Is he living up the explorer’s moniker and checking out every crevice of your home?

Gorgeous gorgeous coloring on Magellan! Love those big eyes. Can’t believe my Girls have been with me now four 1/2 years! Time flies and they’re more full of spunk and bravado now than ever. Hugs from me and the Girls.

lovely cat you have!..Magellan is such a cute name as well…cheers from Indonesia..
What a cute picture, is that baby just arriving or being shipped 🙂

Love it! I have stopped buying so many cat toys recently, and just keep the boxes that things come shipped to the house in around for them. With five cats, a few boxes provide limitless entertainment for everyone.
Calista Jo does the neck grab/hug with Mauricio. She is no little thing anymore, however, and the session usually ends up with neck biting andy hissing. Hope it remains all in fun. Enjoy Magellan! Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Look at all the curiosity in your kitty’s eyes. You can actually see it! Too funny.
New kittens are so much fun! They bring a renewed sense of energy to the home and something for the others to watch. Perhaps Magellan will keep everyone hoppin’ – ha!
Happy New Year – WOOF WOOF!

Ha – I’ve heard it said, the best way to catch a cat, is to place a box on the floor. so cute.
