Magellan – Caught In The Act
Quote Of The Week
If a cat spoke, it would say things like,
“Hey, I don’t see a the problem here!”
Roy Blount Jr.
Do you have feline who loves to bake?
Magellan does.
I’m beginning to believe that is how
He got his white paws and chin!
Magellan is curious about everything.
Magellan believes he is the royal taste tester.
He likes to sneak samples when we aren’t looking.
Often, he goes back for second helpings!
Do you have a pet who likes to help out in the kitchen?

I hate baking… but don’t tell anyone! 😉 It really seems to be his thing, though! Happy WW!

Magellan the Royal Taste Tester. Cute! Though he may want to wear a hair net. Er, a fur net?
He is adorable!

says:
Yes…yes I do. My Cougar girl will help in the kitchen in exchange for small pieces of cheese. In fact, she insists upon her helping and demands her ration of cheese.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Ah, Cougar girl – love it! Isn’t it amazing how each cat has a special endearing habit all their own?
With Tsunami, it’s poultry. He has my husband SO wrapped around his huge furry paws that my husband will go to Costco and buy those delicious Rotisserie chickens just for him (as they are his favorite!)
Busted!

I think he actually believes he’s invisible behind that flour canister!! Jasper cat was only ever interested when HIS food was being prepared. Jade Dog on the other hand always loved to help unpack the groceries, help me choose which packet to open and if I was cooking chapatti or poori or any other bread for that matter, the first piece was always hers!! Have a great week. YAM x

Love how Jade dog helps you unpack your groceries.
Magellan is like that.
He is always there, sticking his nose into EVERYTHING!

Aww! heheh Magellan has the cutest face and looks so contented…with your food LOL
Have a tanfabulous week 🙂

Bailey (my Maine Coon) is always getting into everything. We have to be extra vigilant of boiling water. She loves rolling bubbles. I have to ask, does she play fetch? Bailey loves having us throw her toy and she always brings it back. It’s a nightly ritual.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Oh my word, boiling water? Thank goodness Magellan has not discovered THAT!
Yes, Magellan LOVES to play fetch – and he is our best fetcher yet!
He ALWAYS brings back his toys and frequently brings them to me (while I’m sleeping) so that as soon as I move,
he can pounce on them and start his day with a good hunt!

Lol to the hair net comment. How cute.
…and they say it’s a dog’s life! I’d rather be a cat!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Yup – they get away with everything, don’t they!
Have a great day!
Sweet!!! Although I also like the hair/fur net comment! Thanks for the smile I leave with and for the awesome links!

My mom was always big on hair nets.
Me?
I detest the things!
I use to have a cat that was quite famous for leaping on the counter and stealing cookies as they cooled. He did it all in one swift and fluid movement,. Quite a site!!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Cookies – that’s a new one to me! You have to be careful with the ingredients though as chocolate can be dangerous for them!
I had one cat who LOVED fruit – especially melon! Every time I would make myself a bowl of melon in the summer, he would proceed to go and lick out all of the delicious juice!
You should call him Nehemiah! Thanks for the cute post & for hosting & God bless!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Nehemiah! Hmmm… never thought of that name for a cat – but I always thought Malachi would be the perfect name for the right German Shepherd!
My cat Mollie loves to sleep and when she is awake, she is as curious as yours is … 🙂 Magellan is very cute!!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Mollie and Magellan. What a pair they would make!
Really cute and adorable captures of Magellan. 🙂
Our black cat, Fritz, likes to help us cook, but baking isn’t really his thing. He loves steak, Italian beef, hamburger and any type of potatoes.
They also “help” me photograph and make jewelry (not)
My boys are on my blog today.

Loved visiting your boys Linda – and now, you’ve made me hungry!
Happy Wordless Wednesday to you!

Oh my goodness, I have a kitchen kitty too, she loves the sink, could have taken photo of here laying in it today. Always has to pace on the counter to see whats up. Thanks for hosting, Karren

Maybe next week Karren – my kitties love the sinks too (but we don’t allow them in the kitchen sink!)
Way to “help,” Magellan! Bravo!
Oh, he is too cute! Our cat is always into everything, too!
My kitties would love the opportunity to taste test…
Amelia’s tastes are usually on the vegetable side- I have caught her with her head in the spinach bag too many times!

You know what they say about curiosity and the cat, but then again satisfaction brought kitty back to snuggle some more.
What a lovely cat♥ a nice series!
Wish you a good wednesday

Thanks so much for the fun party and have a nice day and week!
We have lots of taste testers, but our angel Steamer was the most brazen…she even stole an entire pork chop off Mom’s plate one time. Magellan is so adorable. These pictures are priceless. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Wow – Steamer WAS bold! My first Maine Coon, Goliath, was like that too. We couldn’t even leave packages out – he would rip right through them!
Haha that first photo is a look of pure guilt!

I love baking! My kitty died of old age about 4 years ago, and we just cannot bring ourselves to adopt another cat. We now have two rescue dogs, and let me tell you, they LOVE it when I bake because I always drop stuff on the floor!
Good shot from a cooking cat ! I love cats. Thanks for sharing and hosting this nice project.
Enjoy the rest of your day!
Hugs, Wieczora (◔‿◔)
My kitties help me when I’m cooking too. Make sure all the right ingredients are there Magellan!

Magellan is definitely enjoying the kitchen! Always love your pics!
Happy WW, thanks for the linky, I linked up!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1

Thanks Tracy – Magellan definitely wants to be where the action is!
Yummy! Is Magellan baking cat cakes? MOL!
Luv your cat. My cat, Boots, loves ice cubes in her water.
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Very cool! My cats like to play with them too!
My other cat (I have 2) does things like this. We are trying to keep her off the counters, but it is a difficult task…we rarely hear her go up…but usually hear her come down. By then, it’s too late to spray her with water. Great shots.

I know what you mean Mitzi – that can be a tough habit to break!
Glad you like the photos! Have a wonderful day!
Glad to visit. Very nice blog
She looks surprised in that first photo. And hungry in the others.
Oh yes, we have a few royal taste testers here. And they’re all willing to test things by picking things up directly from your plate while you’re eating. So glad we have such caring animals that they’re willing to put themselves on the line for us. 🙂

Hi Suzanne! Glad to see that I am not the only one who is protected by a royal taste tester! 🙂

Sweet Magellan! I have Copperfield and Emma keeping me busy – love their creative company!
Thanks so much for sharing your All Creatures Great and Small with All Things Bright and Beautiful this month. You host some great linkys – if I manage this first one well, perhaps I will do more. But, really – it can be a full time job keeping up with so many!
Joy!

So cute! I have a cat who joins us at the dinner table every evening hoping to get a taste of something. She often helps herself to unattended drinks laying around as well. Thank you for joining Little Things Thursday this week!
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Yes, our kitties help themselves to just about everything they can stick their noses into as well!
hahahahahaha! I enjoyed this so much!
This is just too cute. Love the photos of Magellan, looks like he’s having a great time.
