Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
Photo Of The Week – Tsunami & Magellan!
Quote Of The Week
There is no cat “language”.
Painful as it is for us to admit,
They don’t need one.
Barbara Holland
Wordless Wednesday – Behave!
When a new kitten enters an established cat kingdom,
The unruly youngster is bound to test the waters –
Push a few buttons –
Ruffle a few proverbial feathers.
New boundaries must be established!
A new pecking order must be determined!
Who will reign at the end of the day?
When Magellan first arrived in our household,
He was full of boundless energy!
At times, he proved to be a particularly incorrigible kitten,
Pushing the limits of patience of even the
Particularly chill and gentle Tsunami.
Magellan’s favorite game was stalk Tsunami!
He was particularly found of jumping on
His big brother’s back and on his head!
Perhaps this was his way of trying to usurp Tsunami’s crown –
But as you can imagine, with each passing day,
This game grew more and more annoying
The bigger and strong Magellan grew.
I happened to have my camera in hand during
This defining moment in their relationship
When Tsunami decided he had
Had enough of Magellan’s foolhardy ways
And decided to teach him some manners.
This photo truly speaks a thousand words!
This week, I invite you to share a defining moment
In the relationship between the pets in your household!
Video Spotlight – There’s A Lion Under My Bed!
It appears that youngsters of all ages need to learn manners!

Thanks Meryl – have a wonderful week as well!
A defining moment between our pets was when our cat would snuggle up to our dog when the dog was reclining. The cat made his chest her pillow. And one time the cat tried to nurse from the male dog! LOL. Go gently, Amy

I want a lion cub!
I think Magellan got the message! Great photo. 🙂
Our Alpha Dutchess will just outright stand over a new kitten in our house and they roll over and submit to her.
Our Duke was quite rambunctious and BIG. (Bigger than Dutchie by quite few pounds…) But she kept him in line.
Love your shot!

What a lovely picture & happy Wordless Wednesday to you all 🙂
Such a great photo of the two of them together. 🙂 Here’s my WW for this week: https://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2014/06/25/wordless-wednesday-my-precious-people/#comments
Your kitties are so pretty. They look super soft, too. And that video made me melt! Amazing how such cute little trouble makers can turn into such majestic beasts.
Thank you so much for sharing this fabulous video. Lots of squeee moments. Our kitties are currently trying to re-establish the hierarchy in the household, even though the youngest is two years old. Astrid, who is not the youngest has gotten tired of being on the bottom. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Tsunami certainly knew how to restore order didn’t he!
So cute!
I have shared a tiny scrap of affection, here!

lol it’s a survival thing with animals, the parents teach the cubs to survive…..
and more lols it would be nice if some 21st century parents would teach their kids how to behave!!

Isn’t that the truth!
Magellan must have really pushed Tsunami’s buttons that day to elicit a look like that!
Your cats are so beautiful! Cats do have a language all their own.

Tsunami looks like he means business. I can’t really remember a defining moment with Alice and Arya. It just seems like one minute they weren’t getting along and the next they were. Alice still has moments though when you can tell she’s had enough of Arya’s overenthusiastic antics. 😉
Those lions are SO adorable!
Oh Drats!! We missed this week’s Wordless Wednesday with you all!!
I’ll be back next week.
Your TX furiend,
Samantha
