My cats are hunters.
They hunt things that move.
They hunt stationery items.
They frequently hunt things we can’t even see!
Lately, they’ve been hunting the laundry.
They hunt hanging towels and washcloths.
They hunt jackets hanging on the backs of chairs.
They hunt bed sheets and blankets.
They hunt socks and slippers!
If it’s fresh – they curl up and leave their scent and fur!
If it’s worn – they wrap themselves in your scent!
If it has strings – they pull them out!
Here’s to the prowess of mighty hunters everywhere –
Especially the domesticated laundry hunting cats of America!

What a cute post! I think every dog & cat I ever had loved to play & snuggle in the clean or dirty laundry!
Our cats only hunt clean laundry! And blankets, and backpacks… thanks for hosting!
I love cats and we always had cats and kittens when we lived in Ghana. Yes, it was fun for them to get into the laundry. They would snuggle with our dogs too! Cats are awesome. blessings, Amy
I remember how our cat use to love to chase after the tail end of the sheets when I took them to the washer. Silly kitty! Once our cat left our care, we had children and then it was the kids that laid on the sheets while I dragged them through the house on the way to the washer. lol Happy WW!

My cat steals the laundry and hides it various places. Her favoite, socks! Don’t leave them on the floor and she will take one or both. She like thieving from my teen aged son the most. happy WOYWW ! Diane #40

Several weeks ago, I was tossing some clothing into the washer, when I happened to take a closer look. I saw two kitty eyes looking back up at me. Our cat, Whiskers, had had her kittens in there! Needless to say, the laundry was put off for a couple of days. :O)
