Wordless Wednesday – Watching And Waiting
Dear Mom,
I know you’re busy today.
I know you have a lot to do.
But it’s been 20 minutes since we last played and
I am so, so bored!
I really want to spend some time with you.
Can’t you get up again so we can go and play?
I’ll play any game you want!
I’ll run and chase my mouse!
I’ll run and fetch a ball!
I’ll jump in the air and de-feather a bird!
I’ll do anything to entice you away from your desk.
Seriously Mom!
What could be more important than
Having fun with me in this moment?
Five more minutes?
Okay, I’ll wait!
You won’t mind if I sit here and watch you with my
Big, luminous eyes…
Nope, no guilt-inducing looks on my face!
Watching and waiting…
Your beloved Magellan
Do you ever find it hard to concentrate when your pets are around?

The day I cleaned my desk off, he made a beeline for that desk and has claimed that spot for his own!
I still remember when he used to be able to climb through the cubby hole next to my keyboard –
I’d be working and all of a sudden his cute little kitty head would be popping out –
Now, he is so big, he just kind of sprawls everywhere! 🙂
He doesn’t look very patient. It would be hard to work with those eyes begging for attention.

I know! He makes it hard to get things done many a day!

When I had pets it was indeed very hard to ignore them… now I don’t have pets I am in search of ‘distraction’ from blogpals’ pets!!! Magellan surely means business… YAM xx

I love how cats always need to be right in the center of whatever it is you are doing. I find mine on my laptop all the time…or in my laundry basket…or as a tripping hazard in the middle of the kitchen while I’m cooking dinner 😉
Twitter: CreateWithJoy1
says:
Tripping hazards – oh how they LOVE to do that!
My cats refuse to budge for anyone or anything (and when they sprawl – they SPRAWL!)!
Magellan’s latest trick?
He races down the stairs in front of you – then stops smack dab in the middle of the stairs and won’t let you by!
Yup – I know ALL about tripping hazards!
He looks gorgeous – awesome capture! 🙂
Happy Wordless Wednesday!

Cat and Mouse it is! 🙂
We think we run our homes, but it’s really the cats who run us!
If I’m not giving my Flamepoint Siamese, Hans, enough attention, he will reach out with his paw, claws extended and pull my hand or face towards him to be petted. But he doesn’t scratch me while doing this! And after I pet and pet him, he will drool with happiness! 🙂
Thank you again for the feature Ramona. 🙂

Oh your Flamepoint sounds gorgeous, Mary – and yes, we know who runs our homes!
It was my pleasure to feature you this week.
Hope to see you on Friendship Friday! 🙂
I’d love to have a cat. You’ve got a beauty. 🙂

Love the quote, and those pointy ears. 😀 Here’s my WW: http://anotherday2paradise.wordpress.com/2014/07/16/wordless-wednesday-lets-scare-the-children/
Cats say so much with their eyes. Love this photo ….!!!!
OMC…that could be my kitchen and my lap with Mauricio (who could be this kitty’s twin). The only difference is that Mauricio would be “talking the entire time! Hugs, Janet
What an intense stare! 🙂
Cats are so funny like that, aren’t they? When they want your attention, they want it! And, when they don’t want it, then you better leave them alone. lol Happy WW!
There is never enough playtime! Great photos!
Love those paws! Happy Wordless Wednesday 🙂
Cute photo and video. I can so relate with seven cats running around here! 🙂 Here is my contribution!

Magellan is SUCH a faithful cat!
If we run an errand, he will wait by the door for HOURS for our return – in the same spot where we left him!

Hi, and thank you for sharing at Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) at In Him We Live and Move and Have Our Being. I wanted to let you know that I’m transitioning to a new site – http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com – which will have a photography focus. Currently there are two pages. One is where I will host Wordless Wednesday (on Tuesday) each week at midnight on Tuesday, Eastern Standard Time. The second is a place for you to link up your main blog url if you host a weekly Wordless linkup. Eventually I hope to include some photography how-to’s and resources. If you have any suggestions of content you’d be interested in, please email me at image.in.ing at gmail dot com.
Thanks, and I hope to see you there!
