Happy WOYWW, dear friends! It’s time for another rendition of What’s On Your Work Desk Wednesday – the place where we share our workspaces, our latest creations, and share what’s new!
What Did I Create This Week?
I love receiving cards that contain subtle little surprises.
I’m not talking about cards stuffed with gifts or cash (although, of course, they’re always nice to receive!)
I’m talking about cards that – upon reflection – bring a smile to your face because they contain a deeper meaning or even something “punny” that wasn’t apparent at first sight.
That’s the beauty of today’s card – A Note Of Thanks – which features lovely vintage-styled musical elements from Close To My Heart’s B1266 – My Heart Stamp Set.
On the surface, it’s “just” a pretty thank you card – but it’s perfectly designed for the music teacher or the music lover that you owe a “note” of gratitude to in your life!
Subtle touches of iridescence add a nice sparkle to the otherwise soft and subtle color scheme of this card!
But – the craft room isn’t the only place that creativity struck this week!
Create With Joy Is Now On Instagram – Join Us!
A few days ago I decided to open an Instagram account. I really wasn’t sure what I would find as I was unfamiliar with the landscape, but turns out, I am loving it! So far, the community seems very friendly and welcoming. My account is still in “starter status” as I begin to share photos and connect with my friends, but if you are on Instagram – I’d love to connect with you! Where, Oh Where, Are The Crafty Coon Cats?

What a lovely sentiment! I love the ‘hidden’ meaning/ wordplay.
No, I’m not on Instagram. Is it only on phones, or also on a PC? I have a phone that ‘does’ internet but I prefer my computer as on the phone everything is so small. Besides I probably need a tech savvy 12 yr old to show me how to use it, lol. I can make a phone call and i can use Whatsapp. No more…..

Hi Lisa,
You need to use your phone to set up the account once you download the free Instagram app, and to upload photos to your account, but once your account is set up, you have some limited functionality online through your PC (you can edit your account and follow other people, for example).
It is actually quite easy to learn – much less intimidating than some other platforms – and lots of fun.
If you enjoy taking, viewing or sharing photos, I encourage you to give it a try. It’s fast becoming one of my favorite platforms in just the few short days I’ve been on! 🙂
