Quote Of The Week

Make New Year’s goals.
Dig within, and discover what you would like

Thanks Jay – I’ve been fortunate to find a place to keep my parties running but you’re right – it is extremely difficult to focus in a different environment!

Now that the holiday season is past, I hope to be up and running again soon!

For many years I have not made ‘resolutions’, but rather assessed the preceding and made decisions about what to aim for improving in the new one. This year, that is my writing discipline. Looks small when put in print like that – but I think you may appreciate it contains big possibilities!!! Hugs to you for 2015 and hope the pooter gets sorted soon. YAM xx

so sorry to hear about the computer. For me that sort of thing happened few years ago due to a virus.that time I was sad because I lost my photographs…

Thanks Amila! I am lucky that I did a back-up at the beginning of December so I an only down a few week’s worth of photos and materials (still, a lot but it could have been a lot worse!)

I lost a year’s worth of photos once that was SO heartbreaking so I feel your pain!

  6. Fried computers are absolutely no fun. Hope you are back up and running soon.

  7. Lysa @ Welcome To My Circus says:

I love the video with the kitties! The Russian Blue on the left hand side reminds me so much of my beloved Gia who is no longer with us! She was such a sweet and precious soul. It made me miss her! Thanks for hosting Wordless Wednesday!

    Wishing you a beautiful week!

    Much love,
    Lysa xx

P.S. I’ll be back once we go live with the Oh My Heartsie Girls Wordless Wednesday Link Party if that’s okay?!?

  8. Ellen Pilch says:

Sorry about your computer. I love the idea of picking one word to guide you, I read a book about that recently. I am torn between “effort” and “focus”. I basically want to give my full attention to all my inpportant relationships and the blog/writing.

Happy New Year! I’ve been struggling with setting resolutions and goals and ended up setting a theme for the year ‘No More Excuses’. I have a number of health issues I’m dealing with and they’ve been limiting me to an extent but I need to find a way forward.

I’m sorry to hear that you are dealing with health issues.

      Or just listen! 🙂

It has been forever since I have visited but I am so glad I did as my furry friend is still here. I did not know about the computer but I hope you found a new one you like. As I also had to get a new one and it is a love hate relationship.

  11. Ralph says:

Too bad about your computer – mine, too, needs a new hard drive and I am calling around. Happily the always lovely Patti lets me use hers when she is not working. I look forward to computer independence again…

My only goal for this year is to have it be better than last year. There was too much death and sadness in 2014. I am ready for more joy!

I am so sorry about your computer, I have been there and it’s definitely NO fun at all! Hope you had everything backed up and didn’t lose anything!

I read an article ages ago about setting your yearly goals for your birthday NOT on New Year’s Day as your birthday is the onset of your ‘real New Year’ that always resonated with me, so I didn’t goal set for the first, but I am re-assessing all the things that worked and didn’t work in 2014 so I can be ready for my birthday goal setting time! Thankfully I have until April to procrastinate! LOL

I linked up, Happy New Year, and Happy WW!

I meant to type that cat video gave me such a giggle… thanks ^..^
I really must either slow down my brain for my hands to catch up typing, or speed them up. I’m not sure which would be best!
