Wordless Wednesday – The Day Tsunami Arrived

When Tsunami Was Little - Day 1

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Quote Of The Week

A kitten is, in the animal world,
What a rosebud is in the garden.

Robert Sowthey

The Day Tsunami Arrived

When you look at Tsunami,
It’s hard to imagine him as a tiny kitten,
But sometimes, I reminisce and
Remember the day Tsunami arrived.

I’m sure, as he looked out upon us,
Away from his mother and nest of soft furry siblings,
He could not help but wonder what life held in the
New world held in store for him.

Will you love me?
Will you feed me?
Will you hold me?
Will you play with me?
Will you let me snuggle with you at night?

Will you keep me warm and safe?
Will you keep me healthy?
Will you be my parents?
Will you make this my forever home?

If you do –
I’ll be your forever friend.

Here’s to Tsunami, my forever friend.

When you make a friend with a kitten –
You make a friend for life.

Who’s the forever friend in your life?
Tell us about your special friend in the comments!

  4. Kittens, like kids, seem to grow up way to fast and then sometimes not fast enough.

Sadly my ‘furever furiends’ left me – at 14 and 17 years. Jade dog was a ‘one in a million’ kinda dog and Jasper cat was the most astoundingly handsome and loving cat I ever had. I shall never have another cat, but perhaps another dog. One day. Tsunami is gorgeous! YAM xx

Tsunami is a wonderful kitty who has found his forever family – he has grown into a big kitty who is beautiful and alongside the equally beautiful and nice Magellan. What a beauty then – and now!

Rufus looks like a mighty playful kitty! You know even though our black lab is 12 yrs. old she still loves to fetch her ball even when you throw it across the room… she’s too cute! Thanks for sharing your kitty. Have a great day!

  21. Mary Denman says:

Isn’t it amazing how much they grow? If I didn’t already have 4 cats, I’d think about a Maine Coon! So pretty!

My kittens are growing up fast. Kukco knew I didn’t feel great today and curled up to sleep with me today. They seem to be so perceptive!

    Have a good day!

  24. Bethany says:

I love reflecting on the love-at-first sight moments with all of my forever friends- I even remember the first time I saw my Natasha. I was six-years-old and she was eight-weeks-old. I was a little girl surrounded by husky puppies but as soon as she peeked around from behind that refrigerator, I knew she was the one. And I was right!

I fell in love with Tsunami the moment I first saw him – which was in a photo since he resided, as a very young kitten, across the country!
My husband fell in love with him when – during our visit – Tsunami “picked” him by snuggling up and taking a nap in his shoe!

  25. Gattina says:

What a very unusual name for such a pretty kitty, lol ! I hope it doesn’t behave like a Tsunami !

  26. Oh happy day for both you and Tsunami. 🙂

Aw, I love kittens. We have three full grown kitties (a tabby, a big black kitty and a tux cat), and they were all adorable as kittens. They’re still our babies, though.

  29. Tsunami is so cute and fluffy!!!

  30. Adorable! Love the poem as well 🙂

  31. Kitties Blue says:

Tsunami has really changed a whole bunch in the face. He looks so mature now. Still a totally handsome dude. Lots of love floating around our house with eight kitties. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

What a beautiful piece, it speaks volumes! Tsunami is so gorgeous, I’m guessing by his name that he’s not exactly a lap cat!

  36. Jack says:

Although my special friend is a pup,,,,I have grown to love kitties through my daughter’s cats. At their core,,,,no matter feline or canine,,,they are little furry bundles of love.
