Welcome to the Book Nook At Create With Joy!
Welcome to the Book Nook at Create With Joy – a place where book lovers gather to share their collective love of books, reading, and all things literary!
Our goal is to establish a family-friendly community where bibliophiles from all backgrounds – readers, bloggers, reviewers, writers, authors, teachers, librarians, parents, homeschoolers, publicists and publishers – can share what’s new in the world of books, blogging, and publishing!
At each gathering, we’ll share book-related news and fill you in on what’s happening around the blogosphere. We’ll also provide a link where you can share your book-related and literacy-related posts as well!
Please help the Book Nook grow by adding our beautiful blog button and links to your blog/posts and spreading the word on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!
We look forward to getting to know you and invite you to connect with us on:

Chat In The Comments: Share The Books You Love!
Welcome to our 4th gathering of The Book Nook at Create With Joy! Can you believe we are already moving into March?
No matter how fast I read, I can never seem to catch up with all of the books in my TBR pile – or all of the books that I want to read! How many of you can relate to that feeling?
This week, please share your answer to the following questions in the comments:
What book(s) have you always wanted to read
But have never gotten around to?
Do you think that this will be the year you read them?
We look forward to hearing about the books you’d love to read!
What would you like to chat about in the weeks to come? Drop me an e-mail or leave a comment for future consideration!
Write On Review-A-Thon
Are you a book blogger who loves to read books but sometimes finds it challenging to find the time to get your reviews done?
If so, Brianna at The Book Vixen can help! She has created a monthly event called The Write On Review-A-Thon that provides you with 2 days a month to set aside to get your reviews done – regardless of whether you have one review to catch up on or 30+!
This month, The Write On Review-A-Thon takes place this weekend – Friday, February 27 and Saturday, February 28 with a wrap-up linky provided on Sunday, March 1. For the full details and Sign Up list, visit the Write On Review-A-Thon 13!
Books I’m Reviewing This Weekend
I am joining the Write On Review-A-Thon and reviewing the following books for this event:
- Grace Of Gratitude Journal by Deborah Perdue (March 2 Book Tour)
- ItGirl4Life by Tamara Branch (March 5 Book Tour)
Write On Review-A-Thon Wrap-Up
I’m excited to report that I completed both of my book tour reviews this weekend – they are both FABULOUS, inspiring, award-winning books – be sure to stop by on the dates shown to learn more about them!
Reading 4 Autism Book Challenge
Are you interested in reading and raising funds for worthy causes? If so, you’ll be interested to know that the Nighttime Reading Center is hosting a Reading 4 Autism Book Challenge to raise funds for the Autism Foundation!
The goal of the Reading 4 Autism Book Challenge is to raise $200. When you sign up to read books relating to Autism and Asperger’s, you donate (or raise) $1 or more per book. Hostess Lindsay Hickey has provided a reading list to help you get started. You can join the challenge by signing up to read as little as one book (or by joining at a higher reading level if your schedule permits!)
Laura Fabiani from iRead Book Tours and Diane Daniels Manning, the author of Almost Manning, are supporting Lindsay in her fund-raising efforts through independent donations.
If you would like more information, visit the Nighttime Reading Blog and
Sign Up for the Reading 4 Autism Book Challenge!

Thank you for your feedback Sharon! Everyone, PLEASE read this:
PLEASE take the time to scroll through the entire post – the main book review/post links are ALWAYS a photo linky so that readers can “preview” your post before they click on it (I pay out of pocket to provide you with this service so please take advantage of it!)
For the social media link-ups – which are the text links only – PLEASE ONLY link up the specified account there! The reason for this is that those who are participating appreciate the convenience of being able to quickly click on the links and grow those accounts.
(So – on this week’s Library Thing Link-Up – if you linked up a book review there – please move it to the Book Nook Link-up as that list is only for Library Thing accounts!)
Thanks so much! I want to provide a place for everyone to grow and share various book-related things that don’t ordinarily get spotlighted at parties and I appreciate everyone’s support with this! 🙂
Kudos for getting both your reviews done!
