    My goals are to lose weight but more importantly is to lower my triglycerides and cholesterol. Having a family history of these blood levels and weight issues are my main goal. I want to be healthy for my family.

      The next 6 weeks are going to FLY by!
      If we do the same old nothing that we currently do, then nothing in our lives or health changes…
      But in 6 weeks, I think we are all going to be amazed by the difference a walk can make each day when we do it consistently and with purpose! 🙂

  5. I’ve become mostly bedridden. Any walking I can do (even with my walker) will increase my life participation with my family and (I hope) decrease my depression. My health is in precarious shape – I’ve been fighting for disability since 2009 and the depression and hardship of living on a single income has almost broken me. This will help.

    I’m joining the challenge! I’ve been meaning to start walking again but lacked the motivation. I think this will help me, and I might even talk my husband into doing it with me. 🙂 I know it will help me feel better and maybe lose some extra weight, too! I’m actually excited about it.

  9. What a great way to lose weight the right way AND set a wonderful example for the kids, too! I lost 40 lbs riding a bike with my toddler and dog attached in a bike trailer. Be inspired, ladies!
