Friend Of The Week – Lisa
Now that November is upon us, it’s time to turn our attention to Fun, Family and Food – which are a few of the things that Lisa, a mom, wife, and former teacher turned blogger specializes in on her blog, Fun Money Mom!
Lisa is a Floridian who became a stay-at-home mom after teaching Kindergarten for 14 years. Inspired by her love of shopping and her habit of setting aside a small portion of her check to use as “fun money” each month, the idea for a blog focused on shopping deals, gift-giving ideas, and humorous tales of her shopping adventures was born!
Over time, her blog has evolved to encompass much more of her life – Lisa now regularly includes stories about family life, travel and remodeling adventures, and whatever else pops into her mind!
She’s also one of the co-hostesses of the very popular Share The Wealth Sunday Money Saving Blog Hop – a wonderful place to save money and connect with other bloggers!

I suppose it would depend on how much fun money came my way… but even just buying a hot cocoa and sitting in a coffee shop reading a book by myself sounds like a tiny little slice of heaven.

I just got back from spending a little “fun money” myself!
Last weekend, I participated in a scrapbooking garage sale at a local store and earned store credit for the supplies I sold –
so, I just had fun picking up some paints and distress ink crayons (which I discovered while browsing) for my Bible journaling and crafting projects!
