Meet Our Friend Of The Week Lisa
I have always admired artisans who have the ability to create beautiful jewelry out of baubles, beads and natural items. If you love handmade jewelry too and would like to learn more about what sparks their creative vision, I’d like to introduce you to Lisa Haven Verde – the blogger and jewelry designer behind Handmade Jewelry Haven – a refuge for all things beaded!
Lisa is a single Florida Mom who holds a degree in Interior Design. Shortly after her kids were born, she opened an online children’s hair accessory business, which eventually led her to explore many new avenues and ventures.
Lisa specializes in designing stunning handmade sea glass jewelry like this gorgeous Sea glass Pendant Kumihimo Beaded Necklace, which is currently available through her Handmade Jewelry Haven Etsy Shop.

I like jewelry but I never wear it. Not a single piece. I did when I was younger but when the girls came along, I just never had time for putting on jewelry and got out of the habit. But I do love to look at it and admire it on others especially handmade like today’s featured crafter! I also buy it for the girls. All 4 of them wear it either daily or on special occasions. Have a wonderful weekend!
