Julie Elias – A Girl Like Me – CD Review And Giveaway
Have you ever pursued something that you thought would bring you happiness, only to find that it left you feeling empty inside? If so, you’re going to really relate to Julie Elias – a Christian singer/songwriter whose life story is as inspiring as her music!
Julie is a former actress who appeared on shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “CSI:NY,” only to discover that her career was not bringing her joy. What she really felt God calling her to do was to use her stories of rejection, beauty, and faith to encourage others through Christian music – so, in 2014, she founded Aurora Ministries, a 501c3 non-profit that creates Christian material and events specifically for teen and tween girls.
Through music, booklets, blogging, conferences and girls’ events, Julie began to share God’s role in her life – even when she didn’t think He was there. Soon, she found common ground to inspire young women all over the world.
Julie just released A Girl Like Me – an inspiring album filled with heartfelt messages, theatrical anthems, and intimate lullabies that remind us that despite our failures and stubbornness, we need to “still believe a girl like me could be worthy of a King.”
Julie recorded this album as a companion to her girls’ events – and I’m finding it the perfect backdrop to listen to whenever I need inspiration throughout my day!
Check out the title song from Julie’s new album, then click the banner below for the chance to win a copy of A Girl Like Me from Julie Elias Music and Frontgate Media! Five winners (US Residents, 18 years or older) will be selected on December 10, 2017 and notified by Frontgate Media, who is hosting this contest. See contest entry page for full details.
