Wordless Wednesday – One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other

Do You See What I See

Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!

Merry Christmas From Create With Joy!

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is almost here. While Tsunami is taking the season in stride and we humans are celebrating the joy of Christ’s birth at every opportunity we can, our dear Magellan continues to have difficulty understanding that this holiday is not about him!

Magellan continues to redecorate our Christmas tree throughout the day, pulling ornaments off the tree and separating the hangers from the ornaments in the process.

Last night, our dear “Sugar Paws” transformed himself into a chocolate-dipped mess when he defiantly tore into the kitchen and landed feet first into a batch of freshly-dipped black and white chocolate cookies I was decorating!

One Of These Things Is Not Like The Other

Then, there are his daily visits to the manger.

Magellan’s daily visits to Bethlehem cause quakes of biblical proportions. Our poor Angel drops her horn at the sight of our less than angelic beast!

Our stubborn kitty just can’t get it into his head that Jesus is the reason for the season. He insists that the shepherds, the three wise men and everyone else at the manger have come to pay him homage!

Clearly, as you gaze at our Nativity set, one of these things is not like the other!

Have a blessed Christmas from Tsunami, Magellan, and their care-takers at Create With Joy!

  6. Ramona,

You think one isn’t like the others? Magdellan is probably thinking, “I know for fact, a distant ancestor was in the stable the night the Christ child was born and it was his proclamation, not the angels, that shared the good tidings.” 🙂 Cats do have a way of wrecking the holiday decorations. lol Have a Merry Christmas and may God bless you with good health & happiness in 2018, my friend!

  10. Ha, I would have loved to see a video of “Sugar Paws” attacking your cookies! Have a fairy, merry Christmas! ^.^

  11. LOL, if M & Purrseidon understood the concept behind the creche scene, Purrseidon would be in total awe of a sink being the manger…. for certain, her paws continually get involved in holiday baking.
    Merry Christmas to all!

  12. Just reminding you that cats were likely there to keep the mice population down in the manger.

  13. Magellan isn’t alone when it comes to understanding the reason for the season. A lot of his human counterparts have lost the purpose of the celebration and joined the kitty in believing that it’s all about them. Have a blessed Christmas and the Happiest of New Years.

  14. I miss that cuteness!
