  1. My one word: Orthodoxy.
Yes, I know it’s a bit unusual, but I’m reading Chesterton’s book by that name.
Also, I’m determined to stay true to the essentials of the faith.

Blessings to you in 2018! Thanks for being here!

Wow Michele – yes, Orthodoxy is an unusual word but it’s a fabulous one (and kudos to you for tackling Chesterton straight out of the gates this January!)

Love you and all that you do. Thanks for being a part of our community (you’re such a blessing to us Michele!)

  2. Claire says:

Happy new year 🙂 Thanks for hosting. Love joining your blog hops.

  3. Thank you for hosting. I linked some nachos, a taco trifle, and an egg nog pie. I hope you enjoy them! Have a happy holiday! #OverTheMoon #WWBlogHop #ThursdayFavoriteThings

  4. Pam says:

I don’t make resolutions or pick a word of the year. However, I just read the bible through again from September-October and I was given a word from Ecclesiastes 5:18: Accept. It’s not my word of the year but it is a word I’m working with concerning my life situation. This is a big one because I’ve been unhappy for so long and looking for a way out. Accepting my lot is not going to be easy. 🙂 Happy New Year to you! Wishing you all the good that 2018 has to offer!

  5. Happy New Year! My word for the year is ‘Fierce’. I mean it in a positive way – as in Shakepeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream “And though she be but little she is fierce”. I’m hoping it will make me braver 🙂 I’ve brought a vintage champagne cocktail we enjoyed over the holidays. It’s my husband’s recipe – and he’s only just shared it with me after 27 years!! Thank you for hosting! Hearth and Soul is back on Monday, and I hope to see you there!

  6. Julie says:

Hmm, my one word… I think, motivation! I need some of that in my life right now.

So more about me; my name’s Julie and I’m a part time homemaker and a part time craft designer. I love to create plastic canvas designs, which is what my blog is all about! I share lots of free patterns over there so go check it out!

Happy New Year! Thanks so much for hosting such a cool party!

  7. Denise says:

My word for 2018 is “consistent”. We all spend so much time multi-tasking but are we really getting more done? I think it causes us to lose focus on what we’re doing, what our goals are, and it’s easy to get side-tracked and leave things unfinished. I chose consistent for my work habits, my blog and my personal life in general. Do it completely and do it well, every time. 🙂 Thanks for hosting!

  8. Thanks for hosting! Hope your holidays were great. Happy 2018!

  9. Thanks for hosting and I hope that you are having a wonderful weekend. My one word is Peace.

  10. meowmeowmans says:

Happy New year, Ramona. Thank you for hosting, as always. We appreciate you!

  11. Thanks for hosting Ramona!
    Happy New Year 🙂

Thank you for the party, my word for the year is Minimize, meaning to downsize, clean purge my home of things I dont use and dont need. I started this the first of December and I work daily at minimizing.

I shared, 7 Nutritious Sources of Plant-Based Milk Products and 5 Secrets to Creating Beautiful Meals at Home.

Wishing you a Happy New Year!!

  13. Betty says:

My one word for the year is “Intentional.” I will be more intentional this year.

  14. Thanks for always joining the Pet Parade! I’m getting back on track with blogging this year and will get over here to visit more often. Happy 2018!

  15. Thanks for the party! No new word for me this year.
