If so, then you are going to love the new Illuminate Your Story Journal, the Faith & Lettering Journal, and The illustrated Word: An Illuminated Bible Coloring Journal from Ellie Claire – an imprint of Worthy Publishing Group!
These journals are visually stunning. Each bright and colorful book is deeply embossed (you can feel the texture in your hands!) and contains must-have features such as lay-flat binding and heavy-duty paper that lets you use your favorite pens without fear of bleed-through!
Of course, the content of each faith-based journal varies from one book to the next. Let’s take a peek inside of each one so you can decide which one is your favorite (or if you simply must own all three!)
Illuminate Your Story Journal
The Illuminate Your Story Journal is the smallest of the three books (approximately 6” x 8”) and is the journal you must have if you want to learn how to design beautiful illuminated monogrammed letters.
This journal opens with a History Of Illuminated Letters that teaches you the differences between different styles and provides tips on how to create your own Illuminated Letters.
This book is designed as a combination of a primer where you can learn and practice how to create Illuminated Letters, while keeping an ongoing journal.
The Illuminate Your Story Journal features a Keepsake Pocket in the back for you to store small treasures as well as a color-coordinated ribbon and elastic band to hold your place.
You can purchase the Illuminate Your Story Journal at Amazon.
Faith & Lettering Journal
I’m excited to own all three of these lovely journals, but if I could only pick one for personal use, the Faith & Lettering Journal by Krystal Whitten would be the one I would keep. What I like most about this journal is that it has a little of something for everyone, no matter what your creative aspiration!
Everyone has their own personal style. Thw Faith & Lettering Journal invites us to explore our creativity in our way!
There are brightly illustrated Bible verses to inspire us along with blank white lined pages and partially illustrated pages filled with plain lines, dotted lines, graph paper, and wide margins so that we can get our mojo as we jot and journal.
There are places for us to practice our penmanship and improve our individual lettering. There are even pages for us to practice illustrating beautiful Bible verses themselves!
There is even a pen loop on the outside of the spine for you to keep your favorite pen or marker!
If you’re ready to treat yourself or someone special to the Faith & Lettering Journal, you can pick it up on Amazon.
The Illustrated Word: An Illuminated Bible Coloring Journal
If you love to journal and meditate on the word while partaking in the creative act of coloring, then The Illustrated Word is the journal for you! The cream-colored pages of this visually beautiful journal contain forty re-created illustrations of intricate handwritten and illustrated manuscripts from the Museum of the Bible for you to color and craft as you desire, along with full-color illustrations of the originals!
There’s plenty of room for journaling as well. Wouldn’t it be interesting to research and jot down notes about each of the paintings and manuscripts you are studying? Perhaps the illuminated works of the monks will inspire you to record your personal prayers!
However you use it, The Illustrated Word is a unique gift for yourself and your loved ones. Be sure to pick up a copy at at Amazon.
