Made For This: 40 Days To Living Your Purpose by Jennie Allen – Book Review
The Bible tells us that God has a plan and a purpose for our lives. Have you ever wondered specifically what your unique purpose in life is? If so, you are not alone. Many people spend their entire lives trying to figure out what they were placed on planet Earth to do! But, suppose there was a resource from one of the leading visionaries in the country that could help you to pinpoint your specific purpose in life over the next 40 days. Would you be willing to invest the time to discover all that God has planned for you?
In her new book Made For This: 40 Days To Living Your Purpose, Jennie Allen – the popular Bible teacher, author, and visionary behind the popular IF Gathering – has combined some of the best concepts from her bestselling books Anything and Restless to create a 40-day interactive journey of discovery for women who want to pursue God’s highest purposes for their lives!
Made For This provides you with a step-by-step process that helps you identify how God uses the threads in your life for His good. Each day, you’ll read a devotional and complete a series of exercises that will help you to uncover and explore the gifts, passions, places, relationships, and sufferings in your life. In the process, you’ll also discover how God can use all of these things, as well as your dreams and passions, for His greater purpose.
Jennie Allen is a gifted and passionate writer whose latest book, Made For This, is perfect for anyone looking for a creative and interactive way to learn more about herself and to use her gifts, life experiences, and dreams to pursue God’s plans for her life.
I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars.

I read Anything a few years ago and still remember Jennie’s sweet writing style. This looks like a beautiful book.
It is Michele and she has a whole e-mail program and FB group to support it going on (you can join at any time – I signed on late just to be a part!)
Great review! Now I want to get this book. Thank you!
Go for it Debby! Jennie is also doing a “Book Club” challenge that you can sign up for by e-mail (and join a private FB group) for extra inspiration and encouragement if you are so inclined! (Recommend it!) 🙂
Okay!!! I am going to def check this out. I lead Bible studies and Christian Book Studies for women.
Awesome Chrissy – you might want to check out Jennie’s whole IF discipleship program – I’ve participated in several facets of it both inside and outside of my church – they are a wonderful group to work with! 🙂
Hi! New follower from Booknificent Thursday link up and I’ve followed you on a few social media 🙂
Great review of this book. I really liked the pic you included and it makes me wonder… is this a workbook? If so, I really love it! I’m a big fan of self-help books that allow you to write in them. Of course, outside of self-help, I believe it is a crime, lol.
Thanks for following – I’ve enjoyed connecting back with you on social media as well!
Yes, you can use this as a workbook – this is one of the books we are considering using in our women’s ministry for Bible Studies in the upcoming year – it was designed for 40 days for those who wanted to do it for Lent, but you can go through it at any time at your own pace (which is the way that I prefer to do such things!)
Thanks for the review!
I know several people who would really enjoy this! Thanks for sharing it at Booknificent Thursday at Mommynificent.com this month!
