Food For The Soul From Two Bloggers Who Will Resuscitate You

Food For The Soul

This week, I’d like to share a few inspirational features from two bloggers who know how to nurture our souls. Be sure to visit them as you won’t want to miss meeting them and reading their fabulous blogs!

Lisa Murray - Gratitude Quote

Spring is the season to deep clean our homes – but when was the last time you deep cleaned your heart? Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Lisa Murray (author of Peace For A Lifetime) offers us Eight Tips For A Thorough Emotional Spring Cleaning that will help us to lighten our load, fill our tank, and maximize our wellbeing. I’m working on cultivating an attitude of gratitude in my life. What tip are you honing in on this spring?

hurt-by-the-church-a-letter-to-a-wounded-friend

Church is an important part of my life these days – but it hasn’t always been that way. For years, I suffered as a victim of “church wounding” and – as a result – I stayed away from going to the one place – a healthy church – that could help me recover and re-start my spiritual journey!

If you are in that place, or know someone who is, I encourage you to read Dr. Michelle Bengston’s article Hurt By The Church: A Letter To A Wounded Friend and, while you’re there, explore her blog and the wonderful wealth of healing resources that Dr. Michelle freely offers!

Hope Prevails

If you’re suffering from depression, be sure to check out her book, Hope Prevails, as well!

Making new friends is one of life’s greatest pleasures. What bloggers would you like to learn more about and/or see featured on Friendship Friday in the weeks to come?

It’s so important to have somewhere like that! Thank you so much for hosting, Ramona. It’s such a lovely chance to connect with fellow bloggers! I hope you have a lovely weekend.

It’s amazing how actively looking for things to thank God for each day can change our perspective- sometimes we just don’t realize what natural grumbles we are otherwise!

Have a wonderful weekend – enjoy your Spring!
