Since November is a time for counting blessings, I’d like to start my day by thanking you all for the most amazing of weeks!
Launching a public blog is a scary endeavor. You have no idea if anyone will visit and if they do, if they will care enough to return and follow. It’s where the rubber meets the road, so to speak, in the most public of forums. Without my friend Marilyn’s encouragement, this blog would still be basking in private obscurity!
Instead, I am writing to thank all of you for visiting Create With Joy and becoming involved in this wonderful community of creative artists. I’ve had the privilege of corresponding with many of you this week, and am thrilled by the support, friendships, and camaraderie that’s developing!
If you have not already done so, be sure to register as a Follower of this site – you can do so under the Kindred Spirits label on the far right – you won’t want to miss out on any of the good things I have in store!
Since today I am sharing my appreciation for all of you, I thought it only appropriate to create a Thank You card in your honor! To make this card, I pulled out 2 chipboard embellishments from my Cosmo Cricket kit and a few embellishments from my stash (Prima flowers, a button) and whipped this together in just a few minutes. Easy peasy! This is a great design to use when you need a card in a jiffy.
