Doodlebug Christmas

This is the final Christmas card I made from my Doodlebug bag of scraps.  Since I usually gravitate towards vintage colors at Christmas, it’s been fun working with such festive colors! I’ve also enjoyed playing with the painted wooden pieces – I’m sure I’ll find more uses for them in future projects. The cute Merry Christmas tag is from Rebecca Sowers Fresh Cuts.

This morning I broke into my new goodies and made more Christmas cards. I look forward to sharing them as we count down to Christmas!

This card is so cute. I never thought of using painted wood on my cards. Thanks for the tip!

You're welcome! I received these cute wooden pieces a few years back as part of a PIF trade. I did not want to use them in my scrapbooks because of safety concerns but felt they were too cute to not put to use so thought that they would be perfect for cards! They adhere perfectly with glue dots and are very light weight – I"ve enjoyed using them as embellishments! 🙂
