Now, I must admit that after reading each choice, I wanted to do them all – but since I love beautiful paper, I couldn’t resist Option 2, creating a Clean And Simple Card With Patterned Paper!
It took awhile for me to select the perfect paper for this card – I had so many pretty papers to choose from – but as soon as I saw this gorgeous paper from Provo Craft, I knew my search was over!
To highlight the gold paisley in the patterned paper, I found a coordinating sheet of shimmery gold cardstock, cut everything down to size, and mounted the papers on the card. I then added a very pretty snippet of gold ribbon to the card, along with a Maya Road Paisley Ribbon slide to further accent the paisley theme and a few Skittles (no, not the candy!) to finish the card off.
So, my creative year is off to a good start – how about yours? Do you plan on doing anything crafty this weekend? How are you doing with your resolutions? I’d love to hear from you when you have a moment – all it takes is a Comment to brighten my day! 🙂
Lovely card! Aren't CAS cards fun? Thanks for playing our latest Blue Moon Challenge!

I love your card! I've learned not to make resolutions. I can never keep them anyway. I am trying to be more creative in my paper crafts.
Your card is wonderful – you did such a great job with the challenge. I love how the paper and paisley charm coordinate!
