When blueberries are in season, like right now…I have a banana blueberry smoothie every morning. I dare you to try and add a date or 2 instead of sugar, it equals awesome! And you are getting all the yummy nutrients from the dates…..:) 🙂 🙂

What a fabulous idea! Will have to give this a try! 🙂
I do smoothies ever now and then, never really used a recipe, I just throw in what sounds good. Sometimes I use ice cream, sometimes I use yogurt and a handful of ice cubes. Either way, I’ve never tried adding some vanilla. With as much as I am in love with vanilla, one would think I would have tried it. Thanks for the recipe!
Came from askmsrecipe’s meme. This looks delicious, would it be good with strawberries or raspberries? Any suggestions?

I think a Strawberry Banana or a Strawberry Blueberry Smoothie sounds quite delicious! Have fun experimenting – we came up with this combo playing with what we had on hand! Also, if you have Watermelon in the house, be sure to try the Watermelon Sherbet Smoothies I linked up before the summer ends – that drink is one of my absolute favorites! 🙂
I am absolutely going to try this after my next run!! (I am now a follower :DM)
You know I always have bananas that are ready to be used now and frozen blueberries in the freezer. Thanks for sharing this with Cookbook Sundays!

YUMMMMMM!!! Stopping back through from I Love Blogging Hop. 🙂
Sounds so good. Ever tried freezing the bananas too? Just peel and cut them in 2 inch pieces. Freeze them on a plate and then place them in a freezer bag, after they are frozen. Makes the smoothie so cold, thick and creamy! Mmm.
