Thought For The Day
Dorothy: Now which way do we go?
Scarecrow: Pardon me, this way is a very nice way.
Dorothy: Who said that?
[Toto barks at scarecrow]
Dorothy: Don’t be silly, Toto. Scarecrows don’t talk.
Scarecrow: [points other way] It’s pleasant down that way, too.
Dorothy: That’s funny. Wasn’t he pointing the other way?
Scarecrow: [points both ways] Of course, some people do go both ways.

My Organized Chaos
I had to laugh at that scarecrows face 🙂
Scary! I love the mazes and haunted farms and such. You’ve reminded me of a haunted maze/yard with a giant pumpkin eating monster and ghost weddings. Cool pic.
Love the quote from the Wizard of Oz! Cool scarecrow.
Thanks for hosting!
That is one friendly looking Scarecrow. Hope he has a ‘game face’ to put on while at work.
What a great looking scarecrow!
Hi there… Halloween is not in my culture but is a new trend for 15 years now in France. My son is too young to celebrate it but as there are many Americans who live in our neighborhood, I think he’ll learn very quickly about that 😉
I love that image. Such a cool scarecrow!
I remember that scary face!
Hmmm…I never realized that Scare-crow said some people do go both ways. He was ahead of his time, wasn’t he? lol
Now that’s the creepiest looking scarecrow I’ve ever seen! Wow!
I’ve never seen such cheeks on a scarecrow before. Neat picture!
I love scarecrows. I think they might be my favorite fall icon/motif along with the non-jack o’ lanterned pumpkin.
This scarecrow is cool! He has got a smile!:) Thanks for hosting.
Both ways….hmmmm. Was he trying to make a point oh so many years ago?
I am a HUGE Wizard of Oz fan 🙂
That’s a funny quote. The scarecrow is a great reminder of the fall season. Thanks for making me smile and hosting Wordless Wednesday! 🙂

Sweet, a happy scarecrow. Shouldn’t he look mean? Lol.
Oh my gosh don’t say that stuff around my daughter. We loves the Wizard of Oz. She has Oz everything? I’ll have to tell her about your post. I’m sure she’ll come running over. lol Love it. We decorated some today too. Hubby did windows – I cleaned up after him, and decorated. lol Have a great day & thanks for the linky.
Wow what a scarecrow…..would do the job for the plants I think
That is not so scary, I actually find it friendly. 🙂
That’s a cute one!

The Wizard of Oz is one of my favorite movies of all times. I remember how the wicked witch scared me as a child and if the truth be known I think she’s still a little scary. Thanks for hosting another week!

My mother played Dorothy in the University Players version of Wizard of Oz … she was an instant celebrity … And the scarecrow was a friend of our family! How cool is that:) Brings back some wonderful memories … Thanks.
