Wordless Wednesday – No Ordinary Cat

No Ordinary Cat - Tsunami at Create With Joy

Welcome to Wordless Wednesday at Create With Joy!
Today’s quote comes from French Novelist
Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette, who is best known
For the musical Gigi.

Simply put:

There are no ordinary cats.

Seems like the perfect quote to accompany this
Beautiful photo of our beloved Tsunami!

Hope you all had a good Christmas and a New Year.

  16. ha ha that’s a great quote. My son got me a little sign about cats ( I think at a bob evans restaurant ) and it’s in my kitchen. It shows up in a recent post on my blog about my little kitchen garden where I have some bulbs started…come visit if you get a chance. I love your kitty pics 🙂 Meanwhile thank you for hosting and I just uploaded a pic of my dog in a silly pose that I was finally luckily enough to capture! Usually as soon as I get the camera and point, she gets up. I was quicker this time, lol! 🙂

  31. Rebecca says:

Reminds me of my beloved blind (20 yr old) cat, Mr. Spook. He was once the “great hunter,” but I found him one day on the roof of my house. He didn’t have a clue where he was and I had no idea how my old blind cat ended up there. From that day on the great hunter went into retirement and has officially been a house cat…

Wow, that’s rather scary! I used to have a cat (as a child) who was a master at getting on the roof of the house – but could never remember how to climb down. When he would see us, he would try to fall over and roll (for attention), forgetting he was on the roof – it would scare us to death, as we were afraid he would roll off the roof and break his neck! Fortunately, he never did – but in adulthood, I became a HUGE proponent of indoor cats! 🙂

  32. Hi! What a gorgeous kitty!
