Welcome To Wordless Wednesday At Create With Joy!
One of life’s greatest joys for a cat lover
Is to have a cat (or two) by their side.
Did you know that cats also love having their
Human companions by their side?
Whenever we sit down to watch TV,
Our cats clamor for coveted spots
On the sofa – on laps – on chests –
Anywhere to be nearby!
Lately, however, I’m beginning to wonder
If I should reassess the situation.
Perhaps it isn’t my company the cats are craving.
Perhaps it is my warm cozy seat that they want!
You see, every time I leave the sofa,
I return to discover that Tsunami,
The sofa hog, has gleefully stolen my seat!
(This rarely happens to my husband.
Once planted, he rarely budges!)
I’ve also noticed that during these moments,
Tsunami becomes selectively deaf and
Acquires tunnel vision,
Refusing to make eye contact,
As indicated in this shot!
Do you have a sofa hog in your home?
If so, please share your photos and stories with us!
Thanks for joining us for

Sweet! Thank you for hosting another WW. And, your cat is just gorgeous. 🙂
Yes they love a warm seat. Happens here all the time. LOL
Thank you for hosting!
Always love your picutures. Have a wonderful day.
xoxoxo
I do indeed have two chair hogs … and they both want the same spot whether I am in it or not … it’s my cozy blanket that I have drapped over my chair that is the draw. My Chachi will come sit in my lap and enjoy that while he can, but I know, in reality, he is just waiting for me to get up and leave that bunn warm blaket for him:) . Love this post …

I also have a furry friend who loves to sit by my side; but at 25 pounds, I’d hardly call her a sofa hog. If she is in my way, I simply lift and scoot.

Isn’t it amazing how a small, curled up cat or dog can take up so much room!?! Good thing they are cute and cuddly!
LOL Dogs do exactly the same thing! 😀

Tsunami is looking purr-ty good there. MOL
Iz sometimes like to sit next to DaMa but not all the time.
Happy Wordless Wednesday!:-)
Further proof that cats are not just decorative balls of fluff! The no eye contact? The selective deafness? Oh yes, there’s lots more going on between those perky little ears than we might think! With 6 cats, I am often left standing with my coffee cup, waiting my turn for a premium spot – and my plight is ignored the same way yours is – “need a chair? go buy another one!”

Thanks for the smile! Oh yes, there is definitely a higher intelligence at work behind those perky ears!
Oh, your kitty kat is gorgeous!!! I am a cat lover and he looks very much like our own Monza. It is so true what ‘they’ say: A cat makes a house a home! Even if there is nowhere to sit sometimes! lol I enjoyed your post.
Happy Easter
