WOYWW – New Stash

Peacock Box

Happy WOYWW dear friends! Can you believe that it’s time for another installment of What’s On Your Workdesk Wednesday! It seems that every time I open my eyes, another week has come and gone.

Today I have some special goodies to share! This afternoon, Prince Charming whisked me away in the middle of the day and treated me to an afternoon of surprises!

Prince Charming knows that I love beautiful boxes. He knows that I like to collect them – to use them for organizers – to store pretty things in. So today, he presented me with this beautiful vintage-styled peacock box that is perfect for holding all of my treasures!

He also took me to the local craft store and invited me to pick out a few new goodies! You can imagine how delightful it was going up and down the aisles looking for the perfect things to fill my box!

Washi Tapes and Stamp

As you can see, I went wild over the Washi Tape (who could resist such pretty patterns?) I also added a cute little bird stamp to my stash (who can resist a sweet tweet tweet?) And I picked up a few essentials – a box of mini glue dots (I can never have too many of those!) and a package of blank Kraft cards (which I’ve never seen offered before). I am looking forward to a Krafty day in my craft room!

Glitter On A Roll

Oh – I could not resist picking up a few of these Glitter on a Rolls either!

Life After Art Preview

Now, I’d like to share some exciting news with you! I am part of the Launch Team for an awesome book called Life After Art by Matt Appling, which releases on April 1, 2013! I will be reviewing this book in the upcoming week and – at that time – will be hosting a giveaway for ALL of my readers. Be sure to be on the lookout for this event. If you enjoy WOYWW – you will love this book!

Those glitter rolls were awesome – they had all sorts of colors and patterns – I picked the scrolls because the rolls have self-adhesive backing, which can get tricky to do with scrolled ribbon and chipboard!

Lovely to see the beautiful Tsunami this morning. Congrats on the launch team position, look forward to your reviews.
Now I have box envy. That is fabulous. Did it come from Dunelm by any chance? I have one similar but nowhere near as pretty. What a fab Prince you have – now where can I leave this post so someone will see it and take note? Nowhere sadly.
Happy WOYWW – Hugs, Neet 1 xx

I never heard of this meme. I am not sure if I want to show my workdesk atm 😉 I am working on a landscape with soft pastels. Is this a meme you thought of yourself? 🙂

Oh my goodness – in all of my excitement I forgot to include the linkback to Julia’s site! I will add that now!

No, Julia at Stamping Ground has been running this meme for close to 4 years.
Her website is http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com/ – you will find the links here and will have a blast meeting everyone and visiting there workspaces!

(P.S. I”m frequently shy when it comes to showing my mess – er, I mean desk – but you can show your works in progress too!)

Loving those washi tapes! I’ve only found a couple of different ones here in Australia and none of them as wide as that.

The store had a whole display of them – on sale – and I could have gotten twice as many (love Washi Tape!) but tried to keep the splurge to a minimum!

I thought that the colorful patterns on these would make pretty backgrounds for ATCs – pretty embellishments for cards – and pretty accents for other items!

  12. Julia Dunnit says:

Ooh nice new stuff Ramona. I can’t descide which you will enjoy more but believe me the Kraft stock is a revelation, I love working with it. Those tapes are gorgeous indeed, haven’t seen it at that width here. Enjoy!
