2. Want to share your creative talents or highlight a post from the past? Feel free to spotlight your favorite projects and essays!
Whichever option you choose, please add the Friendship Friday button to your post/blog and share this event on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!
This Week’s Theme – This Land Is Your Land
This week, let’s share our homelands with one another!
1. What country are you from / do you currently live in?
2. How much of that country have you visited?
3. Which part of the country would you love to visit next?
I’m from the United States. I have visited 23 of the 50 states, plus Washington DC and the US Virgin Islands. The state I have not visited that I would most like to is Alaska. The places that I have visited that I would most like to return to are Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands!
How about you? Share your thoughts and your posts with us this Friendship Friday!

You too Nan!
Hey, thanks for hosting another great hop. I am from the US (Wisconsin) and have been to all of the lower 48 states, having lived in 8 of them. I would love to visit Alaska yet, travel the Alaska Highway, and would love to eventually live in Arizona again some day. Living in Iowa currently…
Wow, Diane, how blessed you are to have visited all 48 of the mainland states! You’ve lived in a lot of them too! I’ve lived on both coasts. Would love the opportunity to travel more one day!
Thanks for sharing with us this Friendship Friday. I hope we get a lot of participation this week. I think this could be such a fun topic! 🙂
Thanks a lot of hosting. As always I am happy to participate and have answered the questions in my Blog post. Enjoy the rest of your week.

How cool Rebecca! People who are well traveled are so interesting!
Have a fabulous weekend! 🙂
I’m in FL currently and would love to return to visit Alaska & Hawaii. I’ve traveled widely and believe each state is unique and has something to offer. I’d love to see Yellowstone & the Painted Desert. Thanks for hosting & God bless.
Yes, it’s fascinating seeing the uniqueness of each state – our country has so much to offer – have a wonderful weekend, dear friend!
Thanks for hosting! I have yet to visit east coast states above & below NYC. I have been to NY. I have never been out of the country except to Mexico. Drop by anytime @ DearCreatives.com Hope you have a good weekend Ramona!
You too Theresa – thanks for stopping by – your visits remind me to join you for your inspirational weekend parties! 🙂
Thanks so much for hosting!
You’re welcome Debbie – thanks for joining us!
I’m from Pennsylvania and have visited 8 other states, mostly the NorthEast. I’d love to go back to Massachusetts, with Boston being in the news so much lately I’ve been reminded of how much I love that city. I’d also love to see more of the South — I’ve never been farther south than Maryland and that needs to change soon!
Welcome Ruth! I’ve always wanted to travel through New England, especially in the Fall.
I hope you have a chance to do some traveling this summer! 🙂
For the questions! I am from Ohio. live in Tennessee. We have been to all the continental states and Canada, and would like to see Alaska also.
Wow, Debbie, I’m amazed to learn so many of you have traveled to so many states!
I vacationed in beautiful Tennessee once! 🙂
Hmmm….that’s an interesting topic! I’m a second generation American. Though I’ve been privileged to have traveled abroad…I have not been to all the states, yet. But, I have lived in a few…Michigan, Indiana, New York, and Pennsylvania.
I added a post that is really Earth Day connected. We are all blessed to live on this wonder planet God created.
Hope your week has been Extraordinary!
Earth Day goes hand in hand with this – yes, we are blessed to live on such a beautiful planet!
Have a wonderful weekend Diane!
Thanks for hosting! I’m from Colorado (originally from South Dakota). I’m lucky to have visited most of the states because of figure skating competitions when my kids were growing up. 🙂
Another lucky traveler – and what a fun way to do it!
Have a great weekend Deb!
Have a great weekend and thanks for hosting.
I’m from Australia, currently living in Perth. Have moved 22 times, mainly with work or more precisely my husband’s work, so have seen most of the country. I’m rather keen to stay put and not go travelling for a little bit. The move to Perth was from Sydney 5000 km away and we arrived knowing no-one just over 3 years ago.
Wow – I’ve never been to Australia but would love to see your beautiful land!
I know what it’s like to make a huge move to someplace where you know no one.
I also know what you mean about wanting to stay put!
Love to travel – hate to move!
Have a great weekend! 🙂
Thank you for your invitation, and I did sort of a take on your theme. God’s world and I dwell in HIM, He is my refuge.
Thanks for hosting! I see so many great ideas today!
Wow, you have been all over! I’ve been to a few, but only recently have I enjoyed traveling ever since I met my husband. Now I cannot wait to go again.
‘morning! Hope you are having a good week. I promoted the hop in the Ruby community and will also promote on our FB page. Thanks so much for doing this every week! I’ve got your book review ready to go for the May magazine. You’re the best, my friend ;o) Love, Nina
Awesome Nina – thanks for joining us for Friendship Friday – loved your post!
I live in beautiful Upstate NY! I’m from NJ. I’ve lived in Aurora, Co and Seattle, WA! I’d love to travel out west to see the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone and go to Hawaii!
I’d love to retire in NC!
Upstake NY IS gorgeous – that’s where Tsunami and Legend are from!
Have a wonderful weekend Sylvia. Hope you do get to retire in beautiful North Carolina! 🙂
Thanks again for hosting – have a great weekend! 🙂
Having fun on National Pretzel Day in a Friday Fragments kind of way.
Good Friday morning to everyone! Thank you for hosting!
Thank you for the opportunity to share my home state and land with you
Janice
Thanks for sharing – loved your post!
I live in New England (NH) about 40 miles north of Boston. I’ve only been up and down the east coast, but have never been out west, which is where I’d love to go.
I have always wanted to visit your part of the country! Sounds like we all need to connect and schedule some road trips! 🙂
I have been to 20 of the states, as well as D.C. I have been to Alaska and it was so amazing. Would definitely visit there again. I would love also someday to see Yellowstone National Park as well as the Grand Canyon. Thanks for hosting and hope you have a great weekend!
You too Lisa – I would definitely like to visit or re-visit those destinations!
