Whichever option you choose, please add the Friendship Friday button to your post/blog and share this event on your social media sites so that others can join the fun!
This Week’s Theme – Birthdays
Summer is a time for celebrating – so I thought it would be fun to chat about Birthdays this week!
- What’s your favorite way to celebrate your birthday?
- Has anyone ever planned a surprise party for you?
- What’s your favorite cake and ice cream combination?
- Share your favorite birthday memory with us!
We look forward to hearing your birthday stories – and seeing your birthday crafts, recipes and party ideas – at this week’s Friendship Friday celebration!
Have Fun!
Have fun connecting with one another – building friendships is what this community is all about!

We are pretty simple about birthdays. We give a call to those we can’t be with & usually have a family dinner with cake for the person. On special birthday’s ( milestones) we all go out to a restaurant.
Simplicity can be nice!
Have a wonderful week, dear Theresa!
Thanks for hosting & God bless!
You too Laurie – enjoy your weekend!
Thanks for the party. Hope you will come link up at our Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop too.
Definitely Angel – it’s one of my favorite parties! 🙂
Thanks so much for hosting!
You’re welcome! So glad to see you again this week! 🙂

Hello, I’m already following you, but now I’m linked up on your hop as well. I’m co-hosting the Bloglovin’ hop this month. Love your blog! http://www.sandytoescreations.com/2013/08/a-visit-to-my-dream-life.html
Thank you so much! You are such pretty kitties!
woops! I just posted from my Rascal and Rocco & meant to put my name, Leah Mastilock, & paste that url in the “website” spot. I really shouldn’t comment when I’m sleep deprived!! 😉 Anywho, I’m co-hosting the hop from my Sandy Toes Creations blog. Thanks for linking up and for this hop, too!
No problem! I’m not sure if I know any other state than sleep deprived!
Hi there!
Great theme: Birthdays! Love it!
I linked a few.
I somehow messed up the title of one of the posts…not sure how. #30 should read “Happy Bday to the Bard…but the Create a Bday Tree title popped up and I did not realize it…sorry.
I’m really ok with it having the wrong title. Just wanted to let you know
Hope all is well.
Thank you for hosting!
Thanks for letting me know Chris – no biggie – hope all is well in your world! 🙂
What a great idea for a link up. Thanks so much for hosting. I am adding this button to my party page!
Thanks for joining us, Liz, and for adding Friendship Friday to your party page! 🙂
My favorite ice cream and cake combination is definitely chocolate cake with french vanilla ice cream. Thanks for hosting!
Sounds delicious! My favorite cakes are my mom’s homemade ones – but as a summer babe, I always had a soft spot for ice cream cakes!
Thank you for hosting such a great link party!

Welcome Michie – I’m delighted you found us, and I love your Friendship Friday cupcake post! 🙂
I love birthdays. Birthday cake, birthday parties, birthday games, birthday visitors, etc……. Mine is coming up soon in September. Although I would rather not be getting older (I will be ffffffifty ssssssix), I am grateful for every day of my life! Thanks for hosting this great linky party. I hope your weekend is one full of great memories!
No one has planned a surprise BD for me. A favorite way to celebrate is an all inclusive beach hang out for three days. Now somehow get this info to SO. smiles. Great questions.
I was surprised once and it was a lot of fun!
The birthday theme was a really fun idea!
Thanks Betty! Have a fabulous week!
Last year for my birthday, I wanted ice cream sundaes for dinner and that is exactly what we did– got all of the fixins for make your own sundaes. We had a blast. Only took me 44 years to act like a kid, lol! 🙂 Since my hubby usually has to work 🙁 , I usually will take my kids out for the day and we’ll do something special together.
Sounds like fun! I love ice cream sundaes too! 🙂
Thank you so much for hosting another wonderful party! Have a fantastic weekend. 🙂
Hugs
Kathy
