Tsunami – Found
Quote Of The Day
Places to look:
Behind the books in the bookshelf,
Any cupboard with a gap too small for any cat to squeeze through,
The top of anything sheer,
Under anything too low for a cat to squash under and
Inside the piano.

I tried to convince my husband to get a kitten the other day – no joy 🙁
Don’t give up Bree! Keep trying!
If I can step in here and tell you that you should remind your husband that:
1 – Cats have been proven to be therapeutic
2 – Petting a cat lowers your blood pressure
3 – Petting a cat increases your serotonin levels (which helps with healing, mood lifting, taking away sadness/depression)
4 – Families/Couples with pets are happier… Why? Because they are good ‘diffusers’ and calmers…
This is why hospitals, nursing homes, schools, libraries are bringing in therapy dogs (and cats). And why therapy dogs were brought to Sandy Hook and other disaster areas. Pets have a calming effect. He can Google this! – I hope it helps! ;o)
Signed – Certified Therapy Dog – Piranha Banana
Thanks so much for sharing these awesome tips with us Piranha Banana!
I love my cats – but did you know that I have always wanted a therapy dog?
LOL so cute butter wouldn’t melt 😉
Have a cattastic week 😉
You too Steve!
She doesn’t look like she wants to be found 🙂
He definitely doesn’t like to be disturbed when he finds a good hiding spot!
He just wants to play hide and seek. He hides and you look for him for hours wondering where he has hidden.
Yup – that is pretty much how it goes!
Love Tsunami’s beautiful eyes. It’s good she is inquisitive…. that’s how she learns!!lol
Fab photo! x
Thanks!
So funny! At least he wasn’t lost in the veld (dry grassland) as our Prince had been at just 4 months of age. Praise God a couple had gone hiking. I believe it was in answer to prayer. Thanks again for hosting and God bless!
peek a boo, I see you cutie
Uh oh – caught by another human!
your cat is adorable 🙂 Happy WW!
Thanks Natalie! I love sharing his sweet photos every week!
I begged my husband to adopt a cat a few years ago, took him to Petco where they were doing adoptions, and he spent the entire time looking at the fish while I hung out with the cats. Clearly no interest. But he’s a dog lover and we ended up with a Vizsla, and I couldn’t be happier with my little fellow, so all ended well. Thanks for hosting.
Sometimes the most avid cat lovers are dog lovers who don’t know they are cat lovers until one enters their orbit.
Congrats on your Vizsla – but don’t give up hope on the cat! 🙂
I hope that she is palying and not frighten!! Cute as always.
Have a great day!
No, Tsunami loves to play! He had some wild times as a kitten!
We seem to have adopted a cat. It keeps demanding our attention at the front door. Not sure who owns it or what to do about it.
It’s amazing the spots they can get themselves into!
Would you believe that even today, when Tsunami hides, we still have a difficult time finding him?
We should have named him Houdini!
Too cute. My younger cat gets into some of the strangest places in the house…like vents, cupboards and some of Lilly’s toy bins.
You really have to watch them, don’t you? Even indoor cats can get themselves trapped if you’re not careful!
This is one plus with a cat. With my little dogs, if I can’t find them, then I know they are doing something that I am going to be cleaning up!
Hide & seek is always fun, unless your a kitty who doesn’t want to be found 😉
Tsunami looks like a kitten here <3
Yes, this is one of my treasured baby Tsunami pictures! 🙂
This is so cute! Thanks for hosting.
He has such an adorable expression on his face.
Such beautiful big eyes… I love dogs but cats are definitely something special.
Oh…that’s true, and behind the arcade, and in-between the entertainment racks, and in almost packed suitcases!
Love those emerald eyes! Thanks for hosting & God bless!
Such adorable kitty you have! Very funny to play hide and seek with him, lol! Thank you for the great party. Hugs,
FABBY
haha his “I’ve just been caught!” face is so cute!
Yes I love those wide “uh oh” eyes!
Oh yes, kitties do love to play games… I see videos on them all the time where they’re jumping so high in the air etc. too cute!
So cute! 🙂 really love it.
Happy Wordless Wednesday! My entry is here.
What an adorable photo. Awwww…
Thank you for hosting!
The S&K Gang
Cute. Today your cat looks small, is it a different one?
Hi Amanda –
That was one of the first pictures We took of Tsunami when we got him!
I was going through old photos this week and thought this would be fun to share!
It is really amazing to see how tiny he was when he arrived… he is such a huge cat now!
Have a wonderful week!
How precious! Hope you have a great day!
Hi Ramona!
Thanks for hosting again and come by for Rednesday Wednesday!
That is a great “you found me?” face!
love that face!
Adorable baby. In the piano too?!
What a beautiful and lovely creature… just lovely!
Thanks dear one!
Cats are silly. They like to hide in some of the oddest places, not that Tsunami was in a strange spot or anything. I’m just rambling because I remember how our kitty use to try to hide from us, but we always found her. lol Nice picture!
Thanks Cathy! They truly love to play hide and seek – just like kids!
Aww… so cute! We are on the same page today… our theme is “couch.” As in the cats found the couch and have been napping on it ever since!
Loved your post Deb – but then again – I love all of your posts!
Tsunami, as always, looks beautiful!
Thanks Michelle!
How sweet!
so cute cat eyes, loved them
Happy Wordless Wednesday! My entry is here.
Tsunami looks like our Xen, but yours has longer fur =)
How cool! Guessing that Xen also has the same color and pattern but is a different breed (Tsunami is a Maine Coon!)
Makes me miss my kitty!
Thank you for hosting WW again! I enjoy looking at all the photos others have taken.
Such sweet, sweet eyes!
Such a cute pic. 🙂
so true about kitties!
Tsunami is so cute!
very cute little one. Just love those tabbies 🙂
