I always enjoy seeing the items you choose to feature each week. My personal favorites pics this week are McClean’s “American Pie” and Consie’s 2014 sketch. Blessings!
Picking features is both a pleasure and a challenge – I always end up with two browsers open and twice as many features than I can use!
But – I love Consie’s art and American Pie was a walk down memory lane (even if I’m not that old – lo!)

Hi Ramona – I’ve been doing The Documented Life Project where we are creating an art journal / planner with weekly creative prompts, and it has really kept me focused on doing my creative projects instead of just getting through a day, doing all the “necessary” stuff but forgetting about the “play” stuff ;o) I’m going to check out the other one you have posted this week, too, and see what’s going on over there. Thanks for hosting this fun weekly reminder to connect with other creative types of bloggy friends. I’ll try to get around and visit some of this week’s “hoppers” throughout the coming days (should be a bit easier since we are snowed in and we can’t leave the house!) Nina

American Pie is a classic. This song came out in the early 70s. I was 10-years old at the time and had no idea the song was in reference to Buddy Holly’s death. It was many, many years before I learned this and even today I found out a few other legendary music icons died in the same plane crash as Holly. I was feel just a little sad when I hear this tune, but it’s a good one. Thanks for hitting the dance floor with the Monday’ Music Moves Me Crew, Joy!
