I first read The Velveteen Rabbit as an adult when a friend shared it with me and I SO fell in love with that book!
For those who have never read it, you MUST go and find a copy – and be sure to find one with beautiful illustrations – they SO add to the story!
One of the things that I love about children’s books is that they just aren’t for kids – so many of them remind us adults of timeless lessons as well!

Hi Ramona, I dont know how you keep up with all you do and read too. I have a new book coming that was recommended, A Little Mormon Girl found on Amazon about a little abuse in a small city, supposedly a model city. I will write about it after I have read the story.
